I love those funky blue head lamps in that Super GT R35. I got so excited when I watched that new trailer. See, soon is coming.. soon really is coming at ya!

Nice to see that they actually did show some new GT stuff.
So we can look forward to this weekend and lick our lips for Tuesday.

Enjoy it guys...

So, it looks like the same tracks that were revealed at the Asia Game Show. Weird.

first it's Rome without doubt, altare della patria on the left.

After looking at the AGS Trailer, I've just relised that is Rome:dunce: The lack of blue guard rails along with the fact that the majority of videos only show the Colisium kind of threw me off, my mistake :O

:tup:no problem, in that image they look similar, easy to make a mistake.. i'm sure about it cause i've been in Rome like 3 times or more. When i saw the building on the left, no doubt.

Yeah it was rome! with the Vittoriano in the back (white building), with the altare della patria
I was there a little more than a month ago.

That would be Madrid actually. Rome does not have that downhill left-right chicane.

I'm sure this image is also from the Rome track. We know that the Rome track is going to be a different variation to the ones previously used in GT3 and GT2 (Daytime track). 👍

GT5 does customization? (though we knew this before).

This will be interesting :)👍:)

So many cars, so many ways to make them yours. That's the next step for GT titles. Actually owning the rides instead of simply driving them.

💡:drool::drool::dopey::drool:

Edit:
Yea, I think the "Customization" is the main one they wanted us to take from that. Have a feeling that we are going to be blown away at the amount of mechanical customization in GT5 (not so sure about livery).

I bet we will also find out what "Premium" really means. Which refers to the fact that they have modeled a lot of the internal parts of that car as well. Making those cars capable of more customization than anything seen before.

Plus, other cars can be added to the "Premium" list as DLC. The people who bought the "Premium Edition" will get this DLC for free. While the people who bought the "Standard Edition" will need to pay.

Of course, these are just guesses.

First of all, I think its not only mechanical Customization, Come on, the GT Series lost racing modification and let people without any visual aerodynamic mods except a Ricey Rear wing, I believe its time for Canards, New hoods, Splitters and maybe some Wide-Body Kits (Functional Ones By the way)

About the premium Thing, Just when I was happy about reading Customization in that Ad, you made me remember about the Premium Thingy

That's a link to the Microsoft conference! The link to the Sony conference is at the top of the first post in this thread :)

 Cracking idea, I'd do it myself but I haven't got a Neogaf user account and I'm too lazy to make one just for that.

Look again There is a link in the right corner

Who wants to bet we'll be seeing some of this (finally) at E3?

I may be one of the oddballs here, but I though the damage you could inflict on race cars was dandy. It may not be up to Forza's level, but it's better than Ferrari Challenge. I even prefer it to GTR Evo's, which is pretty hard to grasp exactly what the game is doing to you when you bang up a car. The visual stuff is rather minor to insignificant. Then all of a sudden, the engine blows or the wheels come off as if for no apparent reason.

It could stand some polishing up, but frankly, if that's all we get, it should make most of us happy.

I'm curious to what the customization tag will entail, since all we've seen so far is that mystery Mini and the modded Tuscan. The word allows for a ton of stretch in its definition, anyways; we've had "customization" since GT2, when we got wheels. And GT4 had wings... ;).

ONe size fits all Wings, ahahaha, that looked great on hot hatches (clio) but terrible on large cars like the Mustang, ahahahha, but i dont beleive tat counts as customization, if theyre mentioning it as a feature of the game like Rallying and Damage, you gotta think theres more to it.

True, but GT4 customization is horribly weak. It's "why bother?" weak.

But I think customization entails a lot. Interior, exterior (perhaps like NFS Underground) minus the spinning rims and neon lights.

But for PD to call this a revolution, they're implying either that GT5 will:

1. Reach the bar and raise the bar (set by FM3's in-depth customization.)

OR

2. Totally go above and beyond FM3's bar and include things that I cannot imagine at the current time. Oh, surprises!
