There is a new madden every 12 months,

Justifiable reason why I don't play Madden , they change a few things from year to year and have the nerve to call it a new game . LMAO ,


Anyhow , getting to the original post , I am guessing , late spring , early summer.

It would be very nice to be able to walk into a shop in spring '09 and pick up GT5. Maybe, they could release the game with only 500/600 cars and release the rest as DLC?

Hell if they have that many cars in the game when released, I'll be super happy! As long as they have more than GT3, all will be good.

I've been giving GT3 a spin again recently and it is a bit annoying how few cars there are. I hope GT5 doesn't have races with a field of 16 cars but only 3 models, variety is the spice of life after all. As for the release date I'm saying winter '10, because I'm a pessimist, ha.

Not very, until there is official word no one, not even the shops will know. The only way to know that the shops have been given the official date is when they all start listing the same date as the games release and even then it's not certain.

More so after KY's response in his latest interview where he laughed at the 2010 release and stated the game coming out sooner than expected, I would guess that a 2009 release is very likely. Though I am starting to wonder when in 2009. A late 2009 release would mean enough time for damage to be implemented (as promised). Though I think it could be likely to see a spring 09 release and at the same time a damage update for gt5p coming out. Would be a little odd a move as people would be moving away from gt5p at the time but unless damage comes out by end of December those are the only two options I'd think of being likely (well a third is they just don't bother with damage in prologue all together)

I don't think we have too much to worry about as far as the amount of cars go. I know they always say it takes 6 months to make a car. However, in GT3, there were less than 200 different cars. In Prologue, we're already up to around 75 or so. In the arcade races I do, I rarely ever get similar car fields in the higher class races, and if so, it may be 2 of the same car for a race.

But if a series is meant to be a one class race, then yes you'll have 16 Mazda Miata's or something. I'm sure we'll get plenty of variety 👍

Gaming website Xunlei is reporting that Gran Turismo 5 is likely to be set for a Spring 2009 release. Talk of a 2010 release date are just very conservative projections for the release of the game.

I think it would be cool if they changed over to the kind of model that the major PC sims are developed on.
I think that it would be really cool if they got the physics down, released a product around that, and just focused on content.
I think downloadable content is the future.

The thing was that he laughed when he heard that everyone expects it to come out in 2010 or even later. That's all we have to rely on.
