Depending on where you are in the gear ratio and how/when to accelerate its possible. As well as trail breaking, depending on your corner entry and angle, and how you let off the gas/break. Of course nothing like/as much as in real life, but yeah. In my first couple of attempts I had to use all the above to correct my line in the first GTA event.
