Ok Folks like I promised here are my Settings which I’m using to make my Custom Race Experience somewhat entertaining and enjoyable.
Keep in mind though that my Mindset is always going for a Contact Free and Fair Race.
I first and foremost race for the immersive Experience hence I don’t go for every opportunity and wisely time my Moves on Track.
I always drive in Cockpit View with Wobble 2 and have the HUD completely disabled.
I completely Focus on what’s happening in front of me and try to drive as smooth as possible and never push like a Maniac or like I would if I’d TimeTrial for a Daily Race.
I‘m always going the Realistic Route, no corner cutting always 2Tires on the Track and no insane Engine Braking or redlining the rev limiter.
I always race as I’d do it in real life too.

My Car is the McLaren which I set to 622pp. It’s bone stock racing Hard tires. I just restricted the engine Power nothing else.
My opponents PP vary from 630-670pp. Most of them around 650pp.
No tuning just bone stock with having slapped some Turbochargers to them to get their power output up.
Keep the exact order like you see it in the Picture though.
I noticed that it makes a huge difference if you let the Cars start in a different order.
This particular order which you can see in the Pictures provides the most thrilling experience to me.
If you have any specific questions regarding the exact pp setups for each Car I could do that too but as long as you keep your Car around 620pp and than as You go up the Grid you just increase the opponents PP.
You do not have to make it a gradual Increase though.
Experiment to your likings.
You can make 2 or 3 Groups or many small 3-4 Car Groups or a long 1st to last Group.
It all depends on the order you slot the Cars in the Grid.
@Nuschel01
i just tried to upload my Replays, game showed me the StinkyFinger
Is there a workaround maybe
Edit: My McLaren is set to 628pp sorry my mistake but anything between 620 and 630 depending on the track you’re racing at should be good.
And most importantly NEVER EVER use BoP.
And DEFINITELY use Boost on Weak.
Not strong, definitely NOT OFF, just weak.
This 2 particular settings seem to have an deciding Factor in mitigating the Rubberbanding and overall a very unrealistic on track Behaviorfrom your Opponents.
Again, use the boost Function on weak but disable BoP.
And ALWAYS keep your Cars pp and HP below your Opponents.
The Combination of these 3 Factors are crucial to eliminate the Rubberbanding and to give you a really good Challenge.
If you now still can easily Win WITHOUT making Contacts and fly through the Field than I don’t know how you do it or why it’s so different compared to my experience.
Good luck and let me know what you think of my Settings.
If it turns out to be a Game Changer for you too, that’d be awesome so please let me know 😁
