The game just gave me a birthday gift car but it's actually still another week until my birthday. Is this normal? I know that I definitely entered my birthdate correctly when setting up my PSN account.

Yeah it's available for a week before and after the birthday on your account, assuming it's just in case you can't get on on that day for whatever reason
 
Ok here is a silly idea.

What about actively coins.

Ok hear me out you have the ticket shop that sells every ticket level 1 threw 6 plus the engine and special parts tickets, and the shop is open 24/7 for you to buy the tickets as long as you have the coins to do so.


Actively coins? You ask well you'll get awarded actively coins from doing normal stuff like 3 to 5 sport races, taking 5 to 10 pictures of your cars, making and sharing a livery, and doing world circuits races, and so on.

Now how much each ticket is worth I'm now gonna say since you guys will just laugh at me.:(

Of course the livery sharing and photo taking coins will have there limits as to not be abuse.

Ok I'll leave now.

It would be a little bit better, but would still leave a lot of things only availablr through randomness, which is the real problem

A bit like the mileage points in GT Sport.

It would be better if the costs of the tickets were reasonable, but it's still not a great solution IMO.

We won't see it though because PD want players logging on every day and a once per day ticket is a route to that. How many people play GT7 most days just for the daily ticket and then switch off? Probably a lot.

GT World is World Circuits. Championships is now also under World Circuits

Special Events and Missions were likely put together as well. Cafe is Cafe.

There's nothing different ultimately except a less consolidated UX, lol.
 
So are there any updates coming out for us poors? You know, the ones using PS4s. And/or unwilling to up well over a grand for a PS5 AND PSVR.

Because they decided to reduce drastically the amount of races and championships so they put everything together. Do u have any idea how many championships there were in the olders gt? Look how many we have here…most of them 2/3 races with inverted circuit. Cmon, wake up man!

What are you talking about mate, that's a completely different point. You've shown off a different UI, and apparently I need to wake up because now a different UI is proof they cut a bunch of content?

Nothing is proven by a trailer that likely has a bunch of stuff as placeholders. I've already made a post about the fact none of the UI makes sense. The PP values don't match themselves, the Championships are duplicated (in the circuits menu and in the main menu) and the required cars don't fit into the events they're meant to fit into - they literally enter a 600pp car into a 300pp GT3 event.
It's a placeholder list of stuff so they had something to show off.

I agree the game needs more singleplayer content. I do not agree that a different UI is in any way derivative of showing they cut races and championships. The Café is already in this trailer. That says enough about what direction they wanted to go by then.

To be fair we don't know this beyond a small number of events that appeared in the early trailers and other media. You are correct in your implication that there are far too few events in GT7, and the events and structure of the whole thing isn't great IMO, but all we know for certain is that they shuffled around where things were.
 
Of course, that's my guess. To have a whole dedicated menu, you need many contents (championships) to put in. Now we have 10 very short ones and useless championships added at the bottom of the page in that confusing page and events organised at random. It looks like the beta version of a game with also the names of the circuits inserted [.in here.]

Probably the worst one in all gt series.

It is escapism like any other game, you dive into a different world, in this case the automotive world, and this feature is part of it. We could argue about how good or bad it’s implemented, the principles are the same as in any other game.
Would you argument in the same way when it comes to games like an RPG for example, in which your chance to obtain some rare items is like one in a million or even less? You paid for the game but it’s very hard to get to experience all the content

Why the screen doesn’t work on this car? I cannot use it without hud since i can’t see the actual speed. And how we supposed to do on Vr?

I agree with you, the game has no structure to it, i gave up on it a month ago. What was supposed to be a return to the original GT format, has ended up being untrue, It started off by having cars with nowhere to race, Or tracks with hardly again races. And even nearly a year down the road, has anything really changed. I also do believe that content, not necessarily cars but races were kept back to use for updates to keep people playing and maybe hoping there would be bigger monthly updates. If people think that a big update will drop this month, with a track or a bunch of new cars, we’ll i believe the updates will stop completely very soon.

I doubt they will stop that soon, GT8 has a very long way (only started the development a month or more ago) and GT7 is a live service, as Yamauchi reported. I doubt they gonna drop GT7 support before 2024-2025. GT8 will likely come in 2026, or later.

Best case scenario holiday 2025. Which it means 3.5/4 years of development.
Worst case scenario holiday 2026. Which means 4.5/5 years of development.
