"Beloved GT cars"? what can come into your minds? For me it's classic GT1/LMP cars, like Nissan R390 and Toyota TS020 as well as classic JGTC cars, like Honda NSX Castrol '00, RE Amemiya GT300 '06 and such. And some road japanese cars, like the legendary Daihatsu Midget II D-Type '98 and other standard cars


And then there is a database from one infamous thread, which can be a good source, since we got a cars from it (red means already in a game):

YEah but it sounds like its only for a time limited event. Hopefully it will appear eventually in some kind of permanent form!

We'll see how it drives, I'm especially intrigued by the 'South' layout, said to have lots of elevation changes... We need more hilly tracks in GT7 and this definitely seems to be providing that.

"Big" update indeed. It's unfortunate that Sophy is PS5 only but it makes sense. Make some in-depth videos for me please guys 🥲.

Looks like Grand Valley has some cool scenery that will look great in VR. Hopefully it still has some things in common with the original that capture the feel though.

This might be controversial, but I think Grand Valley Highway looks cooler than the OG Speedway. Miss those dreamlike road circuits GT would have before Sport (eg Matterhorn, Tahiti Circuit)...

The real-world Highway 1 is one of the most satisfying and scenic driving roads in the U.S., so I think it's safe to say it'll be decent.

On a side note, Highway 1 is close to the Pebble Beach Concours, which Kaz attends every year, so I'm not surprised it was added to the franchise.

Are Sophy races time limited only until March? That means that afterwards Sophy will not be present in the game anymore, or will another Sophy challenges be added in the future as seasonals? I hope Sophy will not completely fade away as a game feature/mode after March!!!

Man, this new Grand Valley layout sems amazing! Riding thse bridges in VR will be a treat!

The cars look fanastic, Sophy is here, full VR support...

I don't really care, I have enough money and think it's easy enough to get more - it's just quite little for a "Superhuman" competition lol.

My guess is that pd will use the first races to adjust sophy (similar how openai improves chatgpt) and then give us another races :D

To be fair it looks like the races are only going to be 3 laps max but your right in that it still should be more considering its up against as you said'superhuman' opponents.

Also honestly I'm even looking forward to the scapes improvements. Being able to adjust the camera position opens up so many photos that were useless before or just didn't quite have the right angle.

Ok, maybe I've found something interesting, maybe not. In the Gran Turismo Vision GT website, where they publish all the info about the VGT cars and proyect, the new Italdesing makes this reference about the Lotus Esprit. It might be just a reference non related to the actual game, but it seems particular to me because they don't have the Lotus license, as far as we know. I really wish that this is a clear signal that Lotus is coming back in the near future.

It also says that the Italdesing itself is made to run on snow... Maybe I'm into too much copium!

Apologies if someone has mentioned this already, but going by the trackside sponsors of WeatherTech & Mothers Polish (perhaps odd for a fictional circuit), I'd guess that Grand Valley is set in the United States.

Going by the images of its coastal proximity, I wouldn't be surprized if it was around the area of Pebble Beach, where the Concours d'Elegance is held at the famous Golf Course. (Also very close to Laguna Seca)

+2 with me, was never told that sophy was a PS5 exclusive, atleast for PS4 pro they should implement It.
Really hate this type of politics by Sony, we have paid the game only 10 euro less PS5 users not half- price
