I'm starting to think BugBear designed the new track .. Why do I say that ? Because bugbear has a long running cows and aliens easter egg going on and Grand Valley has .. Cows and aliens..
It's california afterall :P

The Cow is on the inside hill of the first corner

I already loved the engine start up recordings but this update

Controller
 - Engine startup sound and haptic vibration have been added when changing cars in the "Garage" while using a PlayStation®5 DualSense™ wireless controller.

Made me load up so many cars just to feel the engine rumbles. Such a nice touch.

I wish the 1v1 Sophy races didn't use stock cars with CS tires on them (albeit I've only attempted Races 1 & 2 1v1). I NEVER EVER use Comfort tires - like at all - so I don't know how to properly drift effectively and the racing line is different from the previous races with better tires. I would rather the race use SM's or SH's (or even racing tires).

I'm watching a stream of this guy playing in vr and showing off the vr showroom what a awesome feature.

We none vr players should riot to have pd add the showroom into the none vr game anyone with me. :gtpflag:
It would be nice if they allowed us to at least access San Galgano Abbey and City of Arts and Science since they've added them back from GT5/6's photo travel.

Well, it's time PD fixed the hand resting on the gear lever for all manual transmission cars then.
I wonder if it has to do with pressing a button being much faster than having to, you know... Actually shift a gear, so they make the hand rest on the shifter at higher RPMs so there's less 'delay' in the shifting animation, after the button is pressed

It must be something about the way they rigged the ragdoll of the driver in the car,it is very realistic when you go over bumps and the driver reacts accordingly but it must come at a cost and that is delayed response in animation, reminds me of gta 5 and Red Dead 2 having very detailed body ragdoll but the characters are heavy to control and a bit of delay

I think that's just an intentional design choice by Rockstar. For some it adds to the realism, for others it just makes the game feel slow and clunky.

Absolutely loving the new Grand Valley, particularly the sightlines: near the end of sector 1 you can see this huge ribbon before you, and it's all yours! Closer to the end of the track, you can see each bridge from the other one, it's so open and cool.
It's a bit of a shame that the time cycle only runs from 0550 to 2030, but it still allows you to see the sun set behind the Pacific Ocean.
I'm curious about the blocked off road to the left of turn 1, lots of potential for more layouts!

The three classic cars are sublime, and the Italdesign Exeneo VGTs are nice to drive too, but sadly have no interior views, despite mentioning the "crystal sphere interior" in their descriptions.

Haven't slowed down to properly check it but there also seems to be a blocked off bit to the left at the exit of the chicane at the end of the lap so maybe there is something there

You are going to hate this but there's no red please refuel message in VR...

It's a very good job the Porsche 962 has a nice big orange fuel low light between the boost and tachometer dials otherwise I've have run out.

Quite the conspiracy there.

LCD and UCD listings are usually generated months ahead, in a pseudo-random way that ensures each car comes back frequently enough (usually 1/2 months or so, and normally the same repeat order).

The Escudo was available again once (in July) after it was released (June). The July update seems to have erased the Escudo from the car pool by accident. It was not and won't be seen again unless they take a proper look.
So how do we get PD to take a proper look to fix this? It's a crappy situation for those of us who have gotten the game anytime since July.

I guess let the YouTubers, e-sports players that are close with Polyphony know in their Twitter replies and such...

It seems it's one of the few tracks where there isn't any night . Even trail mountain has night time

Not sure what the laugh react on my post was for - it's not the first time people have utilised those close to PD to get something changed/fixed.
A bug leaving possibly the most legendary car of Gran Turismo out of rotation, is a pretty major thing... Someone just needs to get one of them to slip a word to PD, that's all.

It is a very early "Night" setting, but there are a few stars visible. Spare a thought for Lago Maggiore East and West, Monza, Brands Hatch, Fuji, Goodwood, Nürburgring GP, Sardegna Road, Spa-with-short-pitlane and Horse Thief Mile; they don't even get to "Twilight" in Custom Race.

In other news, we're halfway there! Four out of eight of what I'd call the "core" GT Originals. Much as I love Red Rock, Tahiti, Seattle, Rome* and R246, these were the only tracks besides Laguna Seca to appear on PlayStations 1, 2 and 3.

*Circuito di Roma from GT5/6 is not my Rome! :D It is adjacent to it though, I'd gladly welcome old goose-shaped Rome Circuit, Rome West (5/6), Rome Combined and a layout like Rome-Night.

Some tracks do have night if you let it advance into it x30 speed . A very early night as you said.

Perhaps a dumb question for all PSVR2 users but how does shifting gears work with the new vr controllers. On the Dualsense I shift up with square and down with x but if I wanted to shift up with the vr controllers I would have to lift my left thumb from the left analog stick. Sounds bad for me.

You can still use the dualsense with psvr2 can you not?? I’m sure I seen that in some of the reviews

When this update was announced, I was like "OMG I'm going to have so much fun playing this game again!!! ^_^"

But then I play and realize The Problems that put me off are still there.
