For 1.29, does anyone know what the new paint colors were? You'd think PD would put a "NEW" icon next to the colors they added.

I believe these are the ones that were added. They're mostly paint colors from new update cars.

  • Green Pearl
  • Gold Metallic
  • Clear Silver
  • Red Paint

M2 Competition:
  • Hockenheim Silver
  • Long Beach Blue
  • Sunset Orange

Sierra:
  • Moonstone Blue

C8:
  • Zeus Bronze
  • Accelerate Yellow
  • Rapid Blue

Alfa Romeo GTAm:
  • Rosso GTA
  • Verde Montreal

Car suggestions for Grand Valley WTC 600pp?
Can do lap times around 2:02 but keep coming up short by about 5seconds.

Im more of a non vgt type of a person.. prefer more realistic cars. :)
I never did the toyko exploit, takes the fun away. Id do the redbull jr out of desperation but would still prefer to do it a more legit way.

Swapped Cappuccino if you have it. That thing is hilariously overpowered for its PP level.

Obviously my cars arent setup well for this track, detuned Gr.4 Mazda made it feel too easy. I haven't got the swapped cuppaccino, infact.. i haven't engine swapped a single car 😬😬

Also, i noticed some of the WTC600 races have got random grids which can be a lotto for winning if ya car isnt a beast. Haywood in particular can be a pain if he starts first or near the front.

Edit, after doing some testing, SS tyres or better is definitely ideal for this track.

8C Competizione is a fun choice for this track. Think mine was on sport mediums with some additional mods. Thing is quick and you don't have to worry about fuel consumption in this mode.
 
Would anyone happen to know what's taking the 'Other' space?

I always think it's the space occuppied by "custom" models for cars with wide bodies or wheels (the stuff you can do in the gt auto shop)

I remember winning that race with a Porsche 911 Carrera RS (the new one that was added) with relatively minor upgrades to the suspension, brakes, brake pads and clutch, with Racing: Soft tires.

I used the new Honda it took a couple of tries as I was sliding too much but once I got the hang of the car it was very easy

Good old engine swapped RX-8! I actually prefer this to the RX-7! (At the moment at least!)
 
I installed 1.29...am I the only one having a very low quality startup sound for the '73 Carrera RS? Can't find any thread about it.

EDIT: PS4 here

Thanks for all the suggestions. Part of the fun is experimenting and playing around with different setups. Sometimes you gotta drop that power down and go more grip.
 
Do we know if the Nissan Fairlady 240ZG comes in a silver color, or perhaps a light blue metallic? Or is all we can do is wait for that car to cycle through the UCD until it potentially happens (or not)? I'm still betting on the silver '73 CSL with M stripes being a thing, seeing how I've seen it being used by the AI in some events - and I don't think the other cars in those particular races are using custom liveries...

EDIT: I'm also betting on the March update being in the middle of the month at the earliest, but more likely in that last week like usual. I also hope we get more missions and Bonus Menus, as I don't think we've had either in a while. Bonus Menus specifically featuring new championships, which furthermore require the later licenses, would be ideal, IMO. Maybe we could see an F1500T-A championship at former F1 venues like Brands Hatch, the Nurburgring GP, and Fuji, with it requiring the Super License.

Stock Ferrari 288 GTO on SS tires with engine detuned to drop it below 600 (didn't take much, like 10-20 hp). I didn't even upgrade the brakes or transmission. Nothing. Stock.
 
In a race event when selecting a car, the game shows all the cars that could race in the event, even cars that might need some adjustment to there tuning, is there a way to toggle showing only cars that only meet the race exact requirements, it's a bit of a hassle to keep scrolling down each time through all the cars till you get to the one that you can jump directly into.

I wish they just listed the tires currently on the car so you know if the PP is high and it has RS tires, you can go to Sports and lower PP and vice versa.
