Nahh bruh, it’s just a joke
BUT, I think they should add it.Neatly summarising my final sentence and image.

May I provide some feedback on the GTP car suggestions forum and share an idea for how it could be improved? Then you'll be wanting to post (or, if already posted, vote for) it here:

Yeah my main issue is that starting a new post is pointless because it gets overshadowed by legacy votes from years ago (GT6 era). This is especially an issue for content that was in the game at the time of the forum's peak in activity, but no longer features in the current game, such as a track post I made a while ago for Indianapolis which had no reason for someone to make back in 2014-ish.May I provide some feedback on the GTP car suggestions forum and share an idea for how it could be improved?
Current challenges:
Proposed improvement:
- Users currently have unlimited votes for cars, which makes it difficult to see clear preferences.
- There’s no time limitation – votes cast several years ago carry the same weight as recent ones.
- It’s unclear whether the community systematically updates/reviews the entire list before voting (I would not do that)
- It’s hard to know how actively the community engages with the suggestions forum. It would be helpful to have data on the number of visitors, votes cast, and threads viewed, compared to activity in other subforums.
- Overall, the current system can feel complicated and unwieldy
I suggest introducing a moderated polling system with limited time frames and pre-selected options, for example:
This sequential approach could be further optimized (not saying the idea above is perfect) but the main idea is to create a structured poll system that builds on the results from previous weeks.
- Week 1: What type of car should be introduced? (e.g., race car, road car)
- Week 2: Which region? (e.g., American, Asian, European)
- Week 3: Which brand? (only those available in GT7)
- Week 4: Which specific model, or which era should be prioritized first
Result would be something like a „GTP car suggestion of the month“.
Just an idea, feel free to delete the post (or i will do so) if this does not belong here. I dont know where else this could be discussed.
I would also argue that the subforum would get much more use if it were placed higher up in the forum list, rather than tucked away at the very bottom so that you would have no idea it existed until it got linked in a different thread as a gotcha.Yeah my main issue is that starting a new post is pointless because it gets overshadowed by legacy votes from years ago (GT6 era). It would make more sense to have a new Suggestions Forum at the start of each individual game's lifecycle, or even before the game releases, rather than just for "Gran Turismo" in general that goes on indefinitely with no relevancy reset. Maybe more people would start using it again.
There is a mention of "mines" in one of the memory dump which dealt with manufacturer strings, which points towards the Mine's GT-R.That's more my point - it's not that I find the cars in this new list hard to believe, it's more that I find it hard to believe the 296 GT3 and FTO and Mine's GT-R aren't in the data by now considering we've seen them run in-engine and presumably people will be using them in the LA test build. So it makes me doubt the veracity of any fresh list that doesn't have them.
I'd say put it in the GT7 forum along with the leagues/tuning/liveries subforums, personally. I think a lot more people come to the GT7 forum specifically rather than going through the navigation so I think it'd be more visible there.I would also argue that the subforum would get much more use if it were placed higher up in the forum list, rather than tucked away at the very bottom so that you would have no idea it existed until it got linked in a different thread as a gotcha.
Aren't those GT Sport pre-order DLC decals?Could've been a neat bonus prize unlock for completing Circuit Experience with bronze or better, like they used to with the track map outline decals...
Where did those go too actually?
I completely agree, but i think there sould be 3 "winners" Example:May I provide some feedback on the GTP car suggestions forum and share an idea for how it could be improved?

Possible phake? It looks like a school project to me, as there is not an official link to Audi or VAG group
What track is that photo supposed to be on? Silverstone? I'd have a hard time believing that. Not sure but the website has this image but I think it’s been manipulated/photoshopped rather than in game shot as the cars are slightly off in perspective

I'm not sure it's meant to be anywhere specific - while the cars are certainly put in by hand, the track, especially the advertising hoardings stink of AI generation to me.What track is that photo supposed to be on? Silverstone? I'd have a hard time believing that.

Huh, that I really like this! A GR.1 version would be welcome in my books. Same goes for the Ferrari too. GR.1 these things. Can't tell if it's real or not but it looks very good.
