Is Racer.com owned by Sony? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Last I checked, Racer Network LLC is not owned by Sony. Would be news to me certainly if that were the case.

"Best fan engagement"?
Really? I mean aside from what they're doing with Spec III we don't even get development roadmaps.

The social media accounts have been posting a lot more general content lately though, so maybe it's more for that.

The Gran Turismo series surely deserves many awards in many categories...

...but "Best Fan Engagement or Community" is certainly NOT one of them.

Best fan engagement. I don't know numbers with fan engagement for any other games, but I'd guess GTAV Online wins? Gran Turismo do get players posting Scapes and Liveries and Scapes & Liveries together.
Does Gran Turismo always online help those numbers too?

I ain't sayin' nothin.

Sounds pretty neat.

Edit:
Super GT posted some Yas Marina gameplay.

...Who's Jack Avery?

Kidding. I looked him up. Pop artist who's in a boy band. Eh...

I don't understand why they got artists who are not in the game itself... It's like bringing Blake Shelton to a Sonic the Hedgehog concert when he's never been in a Sonic game before.

Really unfitting. =/

Can now confirm that Yas Marina is found under the "Europe" section of World Circuits.
It has been renamed to "Europe-Middle East".

Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve doesn't seem to be playable at the event, as the Americas region remains at 14 locations.
Also this leak was spot on about the Polestar 5 coming to the game. I'm now willing to trust it as a legit source.

Yeah, if that doesn't end up winning I'll be pissed.
It's pretty cool, but you can kinda make something similar with the Suzuki Carry we have in the game already.
What model of Kei Truck is that based on actually? Is it an older version of the Carry, or something else? It being de-badged is throwing me off.

Edit: Just went to GT Auto, and the Suzuki Carry can't have a traditional rear wing like the car at the event sadly.

Don't think it's been specifically mentioned yet, but we now also know the prices for 4 of the Spec III cars.

Polestar 5: 120,000cr.
A bit more than the Tesla's & Hyundai Ioniq 5N, but nearly half the price of the Porsche Taycan. There's now a pretty good mix of electric vehicles. Just a bit of a shame there isn't a specific set of races for them like "Electric Circuits" in GT6.

Gran Turismo F3500-B: 1,000,000cr.
Same price as the other 2 PD-Original formula cars. Also cool that we now know its name. Got me thinking that, because it's a B car, whether that would mean there's a precident for there to be a F1500T-B in the future, but the McLaren MP4/4 may already be taking that spot.

Ferrari 296 GT3: 1,200,000cr.
Very expensive for any racecar. Most Gr.1's are cheaper. However it isn't the most expensive Gr.3 car in Brand Central. As a rough reference the Ford GT GTLM is 1M, the Spec II Test Car is 1.2M, and the Non-Test version is 1.6M. The Ferrari 296 is also known to be one of the more expensive GT3 cars in real life too.

Mine's BNR34 GT-R N1 Base: 3,000,000cr.
Matches the price of the Nismo R34 GT-R Z-tune, which was quite controversial in its pricing itself. I was interested in seeing what other R34 GT-R's from tuning houses have been in the game before, since they seem to be a bit of a running theme now. The only one I found that wasn't a drift car is the Amuse Carbon R, so if Polyphony wanted to make it a trio of cars that'd be my guess. Plus Amuse is already in GT7.

Oh and this just dropped:

As mentioned in the post just above, the Renault Espace F1 is officially back!
Also isn't it great when the trailers are over a minute long? :D

So with the Circuit Experience for Yas Marina using the Ferrari 296 GT3, I wonder what car will be used for Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
I'm unsure if they would choose the F3500-B, given formula cars are already tricky enough of a driving challenge by themselves.
Could be one of the 2 yet-to-be-revealed cars depending on what they are.
But what do you think?

It could be a hint, but honestly I don't think that this could be the reason for a new Gr.3 car. There are enough cars to choose from.

I really hope to see a further GT3 next to the 296, but I assume a street car will take the open spot.
