i hope it'll become 100% ivalid  😂, i wouldlove so much to see that btcc audi andthat jgtc viper in gt7, altought i know it's impossible
Me too, I want that whole series to be made invalid. Would like not just the BTCC Audi A4, but the rest of the 90s BTCC cars in that game.

----
For now though, if I want to drive BTCC 90s cars on Gran Turismo tracks. I'll just keep playing Gran Turismo 2...or Assetto Corsa.

Damn what are the chances

Were there any other notable events happening in the world of PlayStation before the 4th of December?
I looked up when The Game Awards 2025 was, as those shows have a lot of reveals, but that's on the 11th so after Spec III drops.

I think the rest of stuff will probably just get revealed in the usual manner, with a post and maybe even silhouettes few days before. No need for another event to reveal more details now.

The only thing I can think of where a reveal could happen is I'd assume there'll be a Power Pack trailer in English at some point, probably when they announce the price. They could sneak a car into that the same way they snuck the Espace F1 into the Yas Marina trailer.

Especially if the price is on the high side, by distracting the online discourse by putting an R390 or something in the announcement.

I expect a trailer showing lots of clicking on menus. A P1 qualifying position by a User and possibly a car pitting for tyres and fuel. A crash or two. Switch backs for track position between SOPHY and the User.
After the trailer lots of “Did you see this?”, “Look like they’re doing this.”, “The race reminds me of ____.”, “Players won’t be happy with that.”, “Ooohh that’s cool!”, “Nope. They’re not getting my money.”, “I knew they’d do that. PDLogic™️”.

I believe pointed out by Famine in the PP DLC article, that'll be 7,000,000 Credits for players that buy the 25th and PP DLC.

That's a big head start. If someone is contemplating getting the game, would be best to read as much about how to get cars and spend the least amount of Credits on specific cars.

It is written "Purchase on the PS Store", "Available on PS Store" so yes, it is for new purchases.
I thought that was just a general link to buy the game, not confirming the credits were only for new purchases.

Guys, I have a question. What exactly is Seasonal Menu?
It's a menu that a restaurant puts out for a set and limited period of time. Therefore I expect in the context of GT7 it will be a menu book that will go live and only remain live for a limited period of time. Just a guess though, we don't have any more confirmed information than you do at the moment.

Yeah, that's what I thought too, how will it work in GT7?

Honestly I wouldn't expect too much from it. It'll probably be just like the previous extra Menus, but with a sprinkle of FOMO added.

Best guess is it's equivalent to the Seasonal Events seen in GT5 and 6. Hopefully more like 5 where they were themed and consisted of more than one race.

Kinda doubt it's the car-collecting type of menu, but we'll see.

This seems similar to the previous sightings of B-Spec from what I recall, which was just used as a developer tool / debug feature.
Polyphony may have left this in the live event build by accident, not intending even this version of "B-Spec" to be in the retail version of the game.
Not anything like a confirmation of a proper B-Spec mode on its way, although it would make sense for the Power Pack content at least.

I definitely see them implementing it atleast for the 24 hour race(s).

I believe there was a Sony AI demonstration of B Spec during an event that showed the AI upping the pace as well

At 2024 World Finals. From what I heard, the Japanese commentators said it was only a tech demo at that point and doesn't necessarily represent a future feature.

“We want the players to have a response that’s intuitive to them: if they change something they should be able to predict what’s going to happen. The more we do that, the more engaging it’s going to be to the players and they’re going to be more involved.

“Ideally, if they can predict what’s going to happen, they can use this as a way to test different kinds of strategies in long races that would be much harder to do without this AI.”

I think that speaks for itself. Everything we've seen from Sophy at a demo generally becomes commonplace in the game, and them even exploring B Spec characteristics to begin with means that PD wants it to be implemented in that way. It's been a year since that article, so it only makes sense that it's been refined over that time and a perfect addition to the 3rd huge update to the game.

I don't know, I mean they would probably have to upgrade Sophy A.I. to some kind of "3.0" status if that was going to be an implementation...

...Oh wait.
Yeah this step change is as good of a chance as we've had.
However if it is indeed a Sophy A.I. 3.0 feature, that would mean B-Spec would be exclusive to the Power Pack content. I'd imagine until GT8.
