I have 1600+ plus hours in the game, I got every single car (some multiple times, like when I need them to populate a 20 car custom race grid). I do play it regularly, mostly doing liveries and getting annoyed by the limitations and shortcomings of the custom race feature.

This was from January, I am well over 1600 hours now

Looks like I’ll be MIA from GT7 for a short while, I think my PS4’s WiFi capabilities finally gave out. I tried fully restarting it a couple times and it just won’t connect at all. It’s a base PS4, too, so it’s probably around a full decade old - a solid run, from what I hear.

That said, I was gonna be in the market for a PS5 anyway, between the PS4 firmware updates ending this month, personal interest in the Power Pack, and Ace Combat 8 being only on PS5, as opposed to being on both PS5 and PS4 like GT7 is.

I also was definitely eyeing a Switch 2, especially since I never got around to its predecessor. Too bad I owed the state of CT a fair amount of taxes since I sold-off some assets, so it basically more than nullified both of my tax returns. Ah, but then I got my birthday dosh recently, too. Money’s a funny thing, isn’t it? But I digress…

EDIT: I was even considering the idea of getting a refurbished PS5 vs. a new one, but I've heard mixed things about that. I think I'll just get a new base PS5, as opposed to the PS5 Pro or the digital edition.

Not sure about that, I have well over 400+ hours and still got an email about the Survey.

I believe my PS4 is about the same age. Hadn't played it since the PS5 arrived in 2024 but its still working pretty good (Which is incredible considering I was on that WAY MORE then I am on my PS5 nowadays and way more careless when it came to keeping it dust free).

Speaking of Ace Combat, did you ever get Ace Combat 7? I was finally able to get it when it was available of PS+ Essential so I'm gonna be putting some serious time into that game, might be the one game that Rivals GT7 in time spent.

I don't have as much time in the game as some folks but I do have over 400 + hours and I also have around 400 cars. Lots of dupes. I hope they were trying to get a nice broad swath of people to see what is important to different people. Hopefully they can make some well informed decisions from al of the data they have received

I have 200+ hours in the game, and own 262 cars, with a few duplicates here and there. Of the Cafe menus, I only miss one that you actually complete by racing, the X2019 one. The others depend on collecting very expensive cars, so I pass. Technically, the game is finished for me, I just do the weekly events and online time trials to keep the credits rolling.

I still play ACE Combat 7. The two missions I like the least are Long Day and Faceless Soldier. Mainly because I use the X-02S for everything. :lol: I hope the next game is even better.

I’ve got 8756h in GT7. Bought 12,712 cars with only 88 currently in my garage and still buying and selling cars. Emails are on, but I didn’t get a survey. Might be on the extreme side of players. 🤷‍♂️
 
I'm at 950h in GT7. I'm hoping to finish the grind of completing 50 Sport Mode races before I hit 1k. Once that is done, I'll have all Trophies unlocked.

I just have to be lucky, my online connection can be hit or miss.

I also didn't get a survey and I have 1000h+ in GT7 and have the Power Pack. We are too deep that PD probably figure they don't have to bother because we'll likely get GT8 anyway :lol:

It will be a random selection of players. They’re asking for written opinions, they don’t want everyone who bought the game to give them an opinion, just a representative sample so they can see what sorts of things players like/dislike quite broadly.

Unless someone mentions a really cool feature they’ve never thought of, the feedback will probably go back to PD so they can decide to focus on e.g. licensing more brands, or expanding the ranges within existing brands, licensing older vs newer cars, etc. some of the info they’re collecting will help them decide which features to focus on to keep longtime players happy, and which can keep low-hour players around for longer.

Imperative! Edit: Also imperative in Spec IV!

But AI difficulty can't be choosen easily so it must be set by the cars & tires & HP or power-weight numbers etc. Which easily also can be done if PD wants to.

While normally I like the more unique cars, I'm personally okay with the 1800s cars never coming back.

To me, they're the reason the Museum feature exists - you acknowledge their importance to the industry, and nod to the GT4 inclusion, whilst also acknowledging they are just too slow for the game's core conceit of track racing at modern fidelity to be enjoyable in them.
