Finally, someone (Traxion) talked to Pikes Peak about its current licensing state, and it seems that Pikes Peak is not a GT exclusive after all:

Relevant quote (at 13:55):
A senior spokesperson said this to us: The Gran Turismo partnership does not apply to PC platform games. Which, I believe, leaves most [of] sim racing open.
Which, let's be honest, "allowed on PC" is basically the same as "not exclusive" these days.

I wouldn't agree with this though. I can't see any devs nowadays bothering to add a platform exclusive location, especially when it's as complex as Pikes Peak would be. It'd peeve the PS playerbase off and be a lot of resources wasted for an entire platform.

It might only be gated on PS but what game would have it, that isn't on PS? All the rally games I can think of are on or coming to PS.

I agree with this sentiment, as aside from iRacing, AMS2, and Raceroom, most sims, rally or not these days have plans to come to consoles at some point, whether they already are (PMR, ACC, Rennsport) or likely have plans to at a later point in development (ACEvo, ACRally and LMU)

As much as "some" people on PC might groan at me saying this, Console sim racing is an important enough market that for many devs it is something they have to properly consider.

An Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 GS won, perhaps he will remember awarding a prize to another 6C at Pebble Beach three years ago.
Mentioning the 6C just reminded me of the Vision GT that never was: The 6C Biposto.

6C/8C, Old Bugattis, BMW 328, the Ferraris from '50, oddites like the Renault 4c or the Iso Isetta, the Aurelia, Barchetta cars like the Oscas, the Siatas, the Stanguellinis... there's a lot of cars from the 1000 Miglia I would like to see in a videogame.
I'm still sad that the 1000 Miglia this year isn't in my local region, hoping for 2027.

Ideas for future non-numbered GT titles, based on actual car names/classes:

Gran Turismo Omologato - a title based purely on Sport Mode, much like the relatively new Pokemon Champions.

Gran Turismo Alleggerita - a mobile version of Gran Turismo, or perhaps a companion app that could allow you to customize you cars, including liveries, and even a reincarnation of B-Spec mode. It would connect to a numbered Gran Turismo title, not unlike Pokemon Home.

Gran Turismo Le Mans/Daytona - A title (or perhaps an app) based on endurance racing, including human driver swaps, multi-class racing, and multi-car teams.

Gran Turismo 500 - Perhaps this could be a special title for an expansion pack dedicated to older JGTC/Super GT content, going back to the 1960s version of Fuji Speedway, compete with period-accurate logos for the trackside adverts.

Man they can't even handle 1 title properly juggling online and offline players, 4 specialised titles/projects would be dreadful and assuredly woefully mismanaged.

I don't think there's any need for any of this though realistically. 3 of them are basically the same thing (but with one of them being a DLC) and the other is just B-Spec with a random barrier to entry. All you've asked for is a fleshed out competitive online and historical content.

Gran Turismo Spyder - perhaps an open world spin-off, but I doubt that's ever happening.

Average score for all cars this year so far:
  • 47 pages of styles
  • 44 pages of scapes
  • 31 pages of race photos
  • 18 pages of replays
  • 35 pages of all content type per car
Points of note:
  • 992 GT3 R maxes out all shared content types already
  • Efini FD RX-7 '91 popularity is no surprise since it's a JDM and GT classic
  • Twingo beat all other race cars (Elantra N TC and the LMH/LMDhs) proving its memetic popularity, but somehow lost the overall podium to Camaro Race-Mod
  • 963 and Elantra N TC averages seems to be carried by replays (daily race qualifying laps? 963 was qualifying meta at Le Mans LMH-only daily)
  • LMHs/LMDhs having lower styles numbers than expected (all of them have more scapes photos than styles, except for 963) seems to be "same liveries are enough" issue (also affecting the Delta HF WRC and MP4/4). 963 and 499P top two in shared styles among LMH/LMDhs explainable by alternate WEC/IMSA variations and the Modificata respectively, though.
