That's the same stuff from the weekend repackaged with a new and unsupportable headline.Leaker Thinks Gran Turismo 7 Could Be Getting Delayed
The guy, whoever he is, already deleted the original Tweet and put out another one to withdraw the implication, two days before that article was posted. That's sloppy journalism at best and truly fake news (publishing information you know to be false as if it was true) at worst.
The "leaker" would have a good case that it's defamatory.
Firstly, PD does not handle PR and communications. It's a developer, not a publisher, and all its PR is handled by the publisher, Sony Interactive Entertainment. So it would be SIE, not PD, who would "clarify" things.Would be a decent thing of PD to clarify this
But that leads onto the question of why they should. Does the PR team at SIE need to be watching the internet for every situation where someone makes something up and a bunch of sites desperate for GT7 clicks run with it as a Betteridge's Law article, in order to assure fans that it's not true? 90% of their output would become that, rather than promoting the game...
As per the above, why do we, Kazunori Yamauchi, PD, or SIE's PR need to go to extraordinary lengths to rebut information claimed by internet randoms without any evidence?@Jordan, with all due respect, is it possible to reach Mr. Kazunori or someone in PD to clarify if the release date has change?
The release date is March 4. It has not changed.
