This is what happens when you accrue 999 Madman’s Knowledge in Bloodborne.

@hyperspeed980, I also know well the threads of such odd dreams. They visit and wrap around my mind at irregular intervals, but oh how the wisdom greets me!

I had a dream that I got hit by a nuclear bomb. In a Call of Duty multiplayer map. In the wrong game (it didn’t have a nuke as a killstreak).

I felt some sort of estimation of pain flood through my body, and my vision turned white. I had to lay and think about it for a couple of minutes. I’ve felt fear in dreams but never pain that felt so real. And I don’t think it felt like pain, pain. It was like pain, but not. Hard to explain, but it hasn’t happened since.

I notice I have the most vivid dreams when I go back to sleep after waking up. Not sure if it’s 100% of the time, there might be times where I don’t remember waking up, thinking back on it. But it does seem like it happens most frequently then.
...I'll be sure to keep all that in mind. Thank you for the advice, friend.

I wonder, if I lucid dream hard enough, if I could dream Shuffle Mode into GT7. Even if it fails, at least I tried, right?

Shuffle Mode was so fun. I really hope they bring it back one day. If you dream of it, and they do, you will be the chosen one! We’ll be asking for you to dream about all sorts of cars and features, then

That would be incredible! I'd be like the messiah of GTPlanet!

For what it's worth, I just remembered another car that appeared in my dream - a '73 Ford Capri. Following the Sierra, it doesn't seem like too far-fetched of an addition...

I googled: There seems to be no complete list of events with details, right?. Like: "Japanese FR Challenge" 450PP (suggested): RoadCar, FR, Japan - Tsukuba, High Speed Ring, Autopolis

Anyone know why my p1 gtr is driving so bad on a wet track?

I try rain tires and it was like it was on ice, then IM and its still sliding all over the place look.

I just cant control it. :(

I did the Spa 1 hour race with the P1 GTR and FXXK and both are horrendous with intermediate and wet tires, a lot of speed and acceleration but are a boats in the corners.

Hi all..............discussion

Someone on here a week or two ago suggested the a good track to add to this game would be the Isle of Man TT, having watched a YouTube vid of from the ps5 game "Ride the Edge" showing this track it would indeed be amazing

It would be, but I'm not sure if it lends itself all that well to racing cars on it. It would be great for Time Trials and of course IRL it hosts motorbike races, but a track that suits racing cars better could be a wiser use of resources.

I'm not sure, most of its public roads, i.e. 2-way traffic, no tighter than Monza or Nürburgring ?

I've been to the Isle of Man and driven on many of the roads that TT takes place on and it's important to note that not all 2 lane roads are equal. Most of the roads are not only tight but most of the track has absolutely no runoff, you hit the edge of the road you and hit a wall, barrier, tree etc. That makes overtaking significantly more difficult and all another car has to do around most of the track is drive right in the middle of the lanes and overtaking without ramming them out of the way would be impossible.

Yes I believe that as much as I love the gtr it ain't no race car it doesn't have the down force a gt3 car has.

I remember a guy I ask on youtube who has drove the real p1 gtr and fxx-k and he told me that the gtr and fxx-k will lose to a gt 3 car around a race track.

yeah....sounds just the ticket

GT7 was #34 in Polygon’s 50 best video games of 2022.

If you aren’t, at the very least, open to loving cars, Gran Turismo 7 is not going to make any effort to love you back. There’s a peace in that, rare in video games this large and expansive, a sense of zen focus that paradoxically encourages players to engage with it both briefly and deeply. That’s the magic of Gran Turismo, a franchise that revels equally in the immediate pleasures of just getting a car on the road, as well as the long-term joy of just becoming a better driver, in tuning and appreciating every car you collect. Gran Turismo 7 is a hobbyist’s game, one that, more than most mainstream video games, remembers that the heart of any hobby is not what it brings to you, but what you bring to it. —Joshua Rivera

An amazingly poor use of their limited resources is what it would be. The IOM TT course is absolutely massive, that really can't be overstated. 38 miles across a whole island making Nordshliefe look like Brands Hatch. It would take several years for them to model it to PD levels of detail.

Meanwhile that same amount of time and resources could produce 6-10 regular size circuits, maybe even more depending on length and complexity.

Given the choice of six+ tracks that you can race on Vs 1 track that is good only for TTs I think the choice should be obvious.

IOM TT is the sort of thing you add when you've already added everything else, it's a cherry on the top of an already huge track list. We're a long way from that in GT.

The link I posted is where the ticket info used to be, now it contains the link you posted with updated information instead of putting everything on one cluttered page.

Also, RNG just works that way. We had people claiming anything lower than 4 star was impossible at the max collector level because they just weren't getting 3 star or lower tickets after the update that made some changes to the odds.
Thanks - I don't know if your figures are empirical or they are from polyphony but my last 55 marathon tickets were 0/0/33%/58%/4%/5% - they are within 1.5 tickets of your stats. I combined your ticket star stats with the prize percentage stats to give weighted prize stats in brackets compared to my luck - Car 20% (13.8%), Invite 11% (6.2%), Money 58% (62.5%) and Parts/Engine 11% (17.5%).

I was having a look around LE MAN and saw this. Next Gen Buildings

PD could have modelled IOM already(haven't seen a reports of PD sightings, but who knows?). Same as Pikes Peak. Could be holding out.
I remember ages ago there was some sort (ish) report of Polyphony Digital being spotted in Isle of Man taking photos around TT course (I only remember cause I live there 😀). Quite a few people took sight of it but it was like 2014/15 or something but I can’t find any news report nis (but I swear one of the radio stations reported).

Tbh I think it’s almost next to impossible to see the IOM TT Mountain Course anytime sooner or later in GT7 - it’s not as wide as it looks for starters and often the road surfaces aren‘t great. Plus what is stopping the Isle of Man Government approving the construction of another damn roundel (roundels are almost genuinely the most baffling thing on the road I’ve ever seen).

The other issue is the surrounding details as Samus pointed out earlier and also yes it would probably take several years cause there’s quite a lot of surroundings to capture. I think maybe it will arrive as a future set of scapes but that’s probably as far as it will go.

Pikes Peak I feel because they have the licence, they are probably holding it out or still developing it.

Now that you bring up Pikes Peak, I do wonder if theyve been working with the weather program to make th environment as realistic as possible. Could be taking them so long to have fog and the clouds transition seamlessly. Maybe even working with the old dirt surface as an alternate "track".

As far as IOM, yeah, Scapes seem about right. Wouldn't put it past PD.

Yes, the course was scanned in 2014.

Yeah, that was me. My driving partner's a bike nut and he'd be stoked. I'd still love to drive it, but as @Samus and @Dave A have suggested, it's not low-hanging fruit for the company.
