Too bad it`s not the latest I30 sedan N from down under

This RAV4 is quite surprising. Fully tuned on dirt/snow it is an absolute beast. Then you take it to the tarmac and it's even more surprising. It's a fantastic little 600pp option, and it HOWLS like a banshee. I was NOT expecting to like this thing, but here we are. Hell, this may be my second favourite vehicle in the update, next to the Hyundai of course.

What year was that Mitsubishi Colt? Easily late 70s
Nah, at least here in Australia there's a really quite rubbish early 2000s Mitsubiti Colt. Clearly wasn't very heavy though, surprisingly quick haha

I have to say that I'm actually looking forward to this update! I already have several liveries in mind for the Opel Corsa VGT and can't wait to see what they're going to look like on the actual car.
Is it true that this car cannot be tuned? While if a car cannot be upgraded it could still be fast enough, like most VGT cars, but modifying front/rear downforce or tuning the camber, toe, springs etc. if that is impossible what does that do with a car if we're totally stuck with it's original setup?? I only used it once so I'm gambling that I remember correctly. I used it in one of the weekly challenges & while it was well balanced by oversteer/understeer it's weird that we cannot tune it..!!

Don't know, I haven't driven any of the new cars yet.

Game is dying, obviously (s)
If I didn't read all the news a few hours ago I would suggest that PD were planning the funeral for GT7 to happen in December this year...!!! One funny meme here which is 49% true is that GT7 is dead or dying. But now we know that PD is revitalizing GT7 in December.

I was saying this before. It seems like GT7 is going to be ling supported live service game. I think the real moment we can expect GT8 is after PS6 release.

I wonder how GT7 support will look after Spec 3.

Trying to recreate the stock livery of the Roadster 12R has my blood boiling.

The red line on the car depicts the camera's default position in the livery editor when projecting from the front, top, and rear of the car, and as is clearly evident, it's completely off centre. The blue line is where the centreline of the car SHOULD'VE been. The completely baffling part is that the default camera is properly centred for the bonnet and windshield banners. How in the heck can they get something this simple so wrong? The car has a centre stripe and a symmetrical badge for crying out loud!

I don't think the 12R is the first car to have this issue, though I can't remember any specifics. Is there a history of such issues being silently fixed? I sure hope that, whenever the 12R is updated to be tunable with disclosed specs, that this bugbear is fixed as well. It drives my slightly OCD side insane :banghead:

You are correct, the 12R is not the first car to have this exact issue. I seem to recall the other ND Roadsters (The S and the NR-A) also had this issue, but I'm either wrong, or it has been fixed already.

I know your pain, as a fellow livery creator.

Just got my worst lm 30min ever in the Elantra tuned to 700pp... Can't get it to ride like a car... Send help!
Found the problem. Elantra is using very specific stock suspension setting. Changing to race sus and tuning it as usual ruins the handling.

Made some more TCR liveries: These are BRC Hyundai‘s cars for the 2025 TCR World Tour. I‘m really enjoying creating designs for the Elantra and I‘m looking forward to finding out how it drives.

Must be something to do with how you are tuning your suspension. I have 3 Elantra's (550pp, 600pp, and 700pp), all of them between 110mm and 120mm ride height (0.0 Toe front/rear) with 270/290mm spring rates and 6/8 stabilizers (on the 700pp specifically) and there is literally no issues with the handling at all. I did extensive handling tests with the Elantra yesterday, mostly focused on suspension tuning. I concluded that as long as you have a strong enough spring rate/shock combo, and you don't lower the vehicle beyond the 110mm baseline (with full race suspension), you should be juuuuuust fine.

There are honestly quite a few cars in this game that have this issue: mainly vintage cars as the models are so accurate they even have slight body/panel warps.

However, a handful of modern cars have this problem except I doubt it's due to warping.

Back in GT Sport days, I heard the 930 Turbo was a prime offender for this.

As I was driving the Opel I stopped on track and the sound of this car at idle reminds me of the PS1 start up sound. I wonder if it was a little Easter egg by PD 😃

I know this is a bit late but when I hear the letters GSE, I think "ground service equipment" at an airport.

Gotta admit I’ve been under a rock and didn’t realise the taxi option. I swear I saw it as a sign in the background that just lined up with the car.

PD are nuts.

If we get a Crown Vic in the December update, Game Over.
A Checker Marathon would be wacky enough for PD.
