Really hoping they add Nur II / reverse Nur to multiplayer, it's basically a new track but has the strengths that make Nur so popular. Has there been any news on this?
Yes.Hmm, no maintenance notice... yet.
Did Kaz mean next week=this week or since covered cars were posted Sunday he means Next week= next week from next Sunday or did he mean next week=next week for the western hemisphere that were still in last week when he posted?![]()
But he didn’t say a week from now, he’s said next week. So that could be up to 14 days, i.e. between the 16th and 22nd August. The thing is he posted the silhouettes on Sunday 9th. You can take it whatever the way you want but if the update land on August 20th it gonna be 11 days from his post, that's a bit longer than a 7 days week.
Probably a careless mistake on his part, it happens. Final answer at 3 p.m.
I am leaning towards Kaz having released some premature information.
That's ok, it happens to the best of us.
No disrespect, but as he’s getting on in age, depends…@Nebuc72 agreed, an occasional premature release is nothing to be ashamed of 😶
Delayed to September sorry mateThe update trailer should somehow be released in the next hour...
Delayed to September sorry mate
Not quite what that means!I feel this update is like a Mandela effect lol
Well, if you believe you've seen it! 🤣🤣🤣Not quite what that means!
Hmm really seems to be a mistake this time with Kaz post. No video.
Update seems to be released on the 20th August.
And still not even the last Thursday of the month. Its logic the update will be after the GTWS round 2 at Tokyo
See this:Probably worth remembering that in Japan the week officially begins on Sunday. The silhouettes came on Sunday, so it was already "this week" and the update arrives "next week" which is indeed the one coming up next from now.
We've had this conversation before
It's rare that Yamauchi posts silhouettes/tarpies on a Sunday, but when he does the update still arrives in the immediate weekdays afterwards rather than those after the following weekend.
1.40 (the "Big Update" that turned out to be Spec II) was posted on Sunday October 29th 2023 as "Next Week", and arrived on Thursday November 2nd 2023.
1.44 was posted on Sunday March 24th 2024 as "Next Week", and arrived on Thursday March 28th 2024.
The most recent example was 1.63, posted as "Next Week" on Sunday September 21st 2025, but it arrived a day earlier on Wednesday September 24th 2025...
There's no immediate reason to think this will be any different, but we did think it was a bit funky to not tease it in the stream then release it.
Along with the stream, Yamauchi will be at Pebble Beach this weekend...
As always take it with a grain of salt:
-Toyota Chaser tourer V Mark II
Toyota Chaser '97
-Hyundai Ioniq 6 N
-Caterham R500
Also he mentioned the expected date as August 20th (apparently content was shown on the recording of round 2 of GTWS at PD HQ today)
I believe it was added in a post-launch Forza Horizon 5 update, but yeah nothing besides that. Would be nice to have for sure, though I'm partial to an i20 N for some lower-end hot hatch racing.I hope the Hyundai collaboration adds this unique one-off unicorn, the Kona N. A full-ICE performance SUV for the masses that only lasted a single production run of two years with no successor. No video game has covered this car and with the SUV trends in GT7, this is the right car for inclusion now that it's considered a rare car.View attachment 1557269
