You're not boring, you're tiresome. I will never get the people who are getting mad at people having fun. Its perfectly fine that you don't like the physics mate, you do you. But getting all but hurt that you are even accusing a platforum that they are trying to mask the negativity is just pure sadness.
Heres a poll from Reddit with more positive than negative feedback. People are generally more positively towards the update than negatively. I feel sorry for you that you feel such a strong urge to tell people otherwise.
Since when Reddit is a place where negativity is well received ?
There might be a significant blind spot here. In any case, I wouldn't take these opinions at face value, although they likely reflect some kind of truth.
I also feel like they janked up fuel mileage/tank size for quite a few of the GR.3 cars.
example: bone stock mustang GR.3 pre patch: 8 laps at the nurburgring full circuit with a pit on lap 8 with about .5 of a lap remaining in the tank.
Corvette GR.3: bone stock: 8 laps at the ring full circuit with about .4 of a lap remaining of fuel.
Both of which were used pre patch at the N24 DLC race.
Post Patch:
Neither of these can complete 8 laps from the dealer any more. I can't figure out how to get them going 8 laps on FM 1. I have to go to FM 2 or higher to make up the gap. I've messed with gear ratios, aero, even settings that shouldn't have a measurable impact like making sure I've got the LSD set up right so I'm not burning fuel spinning the tires.
I simply cannot make either of these cars run 8 laps stock. Can't get there modified either but that's besides the point.
If I want to use either of these cars in that DLC race now I've got to mod them to be fast enough that even if I'm pitting 1-2 laps before everyone else I'm faster enough to not lose time overall. That doesn't make for fun racing. All that does is turn the 24 hours into a math problem that 100% has a solution that is easily found. You'll blow past everyone until you stop then they'll pass you and then you blow past everyone. It's not racing it's two completely different races in one. Functionally turns it into Multi-Class where I'm cosplaying as the prototype trying to win against the GT3 field.
I can feel you... I remember having a real hard time trying to put the Corvette Gr.3 on the same level of fuel consumption as the Ferrari 458 or the 911 RSR for my LM custom race. Most of the time the answer was to install a Turbo, increase weigh, and adjust the gearbox so that the cars hit the rev limiter at the end of the straight. On the other hand, a customizable racing gearbox had to be installed in the Corvette (which inherently reduces fuel consumption), and then geared for low engine RPM on the straights.
The problem you have here is that you cannot set your opponent's cars.

Now, on a completely different note: the new default setup values for the road cars are causing me problems. The suspension extension and compression values are so high that even installing sports or fully customizable suspension cannot match them.
Here, stock values are :
Compression : 45 / 45
Expansion : 60 / 60
Setup window for Sport suspensions :
Compression : 25 to 35 / 25 to 35
Expansion : 40 to 50 / 40 to 50
Setup window for Fully Customizable :
Compression : 20 to 40 / 20 to 40
Expansion : 30 to 60 / 30 to 60
All in all, given the changes made to controller steering, base suspension settings, tire grip levels, and downforce on certain cars, it is very difficult to disentangle physics-related changes from the rest. Consequently, offering constructive feedback on potential adjustments to the physics seems like an impossible task. Debates may dragging on without leading to anything constructive for the devs.
