Don’t have much experience with Sugo, but d’you reckon it’d be a track best suited for slower cars then?
Yeah when I played it in Project CARS 2, I'd say the sweet spot for me was like Group A touring cars, GT4, TCR, those kinds of classes. Multi-class racing with GT3s and GT500s doing LMP1-levels of speed would be pretty hectic for my tastes.

So I think the Civic in the coming update is pretty well matched to the track lol.

I was thinking the new 87’ Civic race car would be great to race on but your feedback helps give me an idea of what would be ideal for this track.

Thanks yo!

Since December will be the game’s 29th Anniversary and they’ve already announced Spec IV “to celebrate this milestone”, the R33 GT-R LM could be in Part 2. I mean, are we in for a nostalgic intro to introduce Spec IV next week?
I can understand the craving for the R390, but the first car we see in the franchise is that GT-R LM. Unless, PD see fit to add it anytime through the year up to next December.

Which would possibly or most likely come first?

Keeping in step with this:
What could a nostalgic Gran Turismo car be? Primera? Legnum? Soarer? Griffith? Forester or Legacy? C4 Grand Sport? No doubt a few people would love to see the NISMO R33 LM road car fully rendered.

I was looking at rosters recently and was surprised to learn that the Legacy Touring Wagon GT-B ‘96 has perfect series attendance from GT1-6. It's gotta be the sleeper of "Gran Turismo cars".
Looking at the Gran Turismo back cover from the GT website, the Legacy Wagon is on there, among others currently in GT7. I know it doesn’t mean anything when it comes to PD, but if they’re continuing to bring back cars from the first games, that’s a blast from the past shown going toe to toe with sports cars.

Or seeing as this falls right with their anniversary coming up, they wanted to free up that second list of cars with some special surprises and that returning BMW M5 felt more at home with the second half.
PD could also add one car that made its debut from each main Grand Turismo from 1,2,3,5 & 6.

Been waiting for the R390 to drop for awhile, especially so after the Toyota GT-ONE showed up a few updates ago.

Can only imagine what those other unknown inclusions will be in the Spec IV Pt.II update.

I like all the 3 cars in your post, from GT3/4/5/6 but they are a low priority until some other cars gets implemented first. And they might arrive in 2027.

What’s a “priority” car? Similar to what I mentioned as a ‘nostalgic Gran Turismo’ car or a car not seen in the franchise?
True, while some of us (like me) want current racecars and stuff, in terms of "priority" cars I would think classic GT cars that have disappeared from the series would fit that description. In my opinion either the R33 GT-R LM or the R390 Race Car could be likely, but I have doubts about the Road Car

I remember in various Best Motoring battles that cars with HP disparity do poorly at this track because of the very long uphill sweeper towards the finish line. I think my first hot lap will be in an F50

Probably going to remake this battle.

So far, the cover cars, we have Kaz' R32, S2000, Ford GT, 996 GT3, C7(well sort of, like the one he drove in the USA). The SLS, the all C6 ZR1 from GTPSP and AMG GT3 are already accounted for.
The Acura CL would probably be the one that's not really a priority, but Acura been in the franchise from the beginning to GT6.

Going to be a long seven days.

Just makes me wish we got that original Murcielago (6.2-litre with the gated manual). The LP 640 that we already have may be faster, but cannot beat the original in terms of elegance and timeless appeal.

But yeah, Sugo would be fun for recreating battles like these. I bet the track is going to be Sugo(i).

I would prefer Super Veloce model. This is my favourite Lamborghini :D

McLaren was just unfortunate timing, as they were going through ownership restructuring. All finished now so hopefully some nice new models licensed (for future updates).
Fixed that for you.

Also, new Bugattis can be licensed given that Porsche have sold all their remaining shares to Rimac. Also opens up the possibility of Rimac coming to the game one day.

Other thing I just thought of: should we expect a readjustment of the gr3 BOP since we are getting a new gt3 in this update. I’m thinking that they would probably adjust it I a way that favour the RX-Vision Evo over the standard one…🤔

Now I’m not 100% sure but I think that back when the added the GT3 R in January we had a BOP rebalance making it the new meta on a lot of tracks..

If so, we might see the end of the Hyundai Genesis meta..

What is the shortest window we've had between BOP updates? I'd be surprised if we get anything since the major physics update already shuffled the deck. And it seems weird to decide to wait to update BOP with Spec IV and NOT with the new physics. It just seems something that would logically be paired together, though we all know PD logic works on an entirely different plane or existence.

There's absolutely no rhyme to it, historically.

They could completely upend the BoP again next week, or they could leave it basically as it is until just before the next official season, both have precedent. Well, for Gr.3 at least... don't expect the other classes to get much attention.

They'll definitely at least touch it though, they'll nerf the existing RX-Vision to make the new one the correct Mazda pick. The one thing they are consistent at is making sure the newest Gr.3 car for a manufacturer is the one you should choose.

Hey Jordan, could you please explain why you consider Dave's driving style questionable? One time, he was a bit off the apex but he did not spin nor did he short cut the track :)
Dave has become a friend after having spent some time together at various Gran Turismo events.

He's a real jokester, so there's no way I was passing up this opportunity to roast him a bit. :D

Never thought that the car I'm most looking forward to drive in the October update would be a Ferrari (I'm not really into exotics). On the other hand, this makes me more excited for December's car roster.

The highlight for me is definitely Sugo.
