Hm. If it was American figures it'd be only 2,896. We'll see in five days! 😅Japanese figures I'd say.

Oh that's right we add two 00's for Japanese.Hm. If it was American figures it'd be only 2,896. We'll see in five days! 😅
No Sophy option at Sugo. I wonder why they stopped/paused rolling out Sophy to other tracks.
Technically, they haven’t. SOPHY 3.0 runs on Daytona Oval and Road Course, Grand Valley South, Watkins Glen, Nurburgring GP/Sprint/Nordschleife, Tokyo Central Clockwise/South Clockwise, Autopolis, Yamagiwa and Fuji.No Sophy option at Sugo. Yeah, it seems, or maybe an old build without sophy, will we see in a few days.No Sophy option at Sugo. I wonder why they stopped/paused rolling out Sophy to other tracks.
I always assumed that the majority of GT7 players are PS5 owners, even at launch. i myself first played it on a PS4 back in 2022 but switched to a PS5 a year later.I suspect the true reason for still investing in GT7 is the sudden and long term price explosion of the hardware. With current memory shortage and pricing there is no way for most of the players to move to PS5 let alone next gen. For that reason they dont have the player base needed for even PS5 exclusive game in the foreseeable future.
Obviously the always online deads any advantage the PS5/PS5P has over the PS4. Let’s count the PSVR2 option out. Being able to experience GT SOPHY in World Circuit and paid DLC option(s) would be a good draw card for PS5 exclusivity. It’s pretty much that way now, unless PD decide to make Power Pack exclusive cars available to PS4/PS4P users. This landmark number, reached as of June 25, 2025, marks a significant acceleration in the franchise’s sales pace. The last major sales update came in December 2022, when Polyphony Digital announced the series had surpassed 90 million units sold to coincide with its 25th anniversary.
This means that in the two-and-a-half years since that announcement, the series has added another 10 million sales, largely propelled by the success of Gran Turismo 7. For comparison, the leap from 80 million (in May 2018) to 90 million took approximately four-and-a-half years.
There's meant to be a big iteration of Sophy in December, so they've probably stopped working on the current one in favour of that.No Sophy option at Sugo. I wonder why they stopped/paused rolling out Sophy to other tracks.
Its a tough hill to climb for PD and GT with current PS5 prices. Memory shortage kicked PS5 to teeth just as it has for many other hardwares. Sadly the big dogs of the hardware industry are also the ones driving for gaming as cloud service. Counter intuitive, but the likes of Samsung and Nvidia currently get ten fold more from servers vs home hardware..Wouldn’t this be enough to make the game PS5 exclusive?

I guess we’ll see what happens when Forza Horizon 6 gets official sales numbers with how many people buy a new PS5.Its a tough hill to climb for PD and GT with current PS5 prices. 🤔 What could they possibly be.
I myself am still playing GT7 on a PS4 Pro as the price of the PS5 and Pro models are a little too much for me to consider at the moment.I always assumed that the majority of GT7 players are PS5 owners, even at launch. i myself first played it on a PS4 back in 2022 but switched to a PS5 a year later.
Is there any proper data of player base split for GT7?
More than likely after. Just like this one.I know part 1 isn't even here but how are we feeling about the release of part 2? Before or after the gtws finals on the 5th/6th?
It has updated aero like a real GT3 Evos doHonestly, we should’ve gotten a GT3 car that isn’t the Mazda Vision GT3 Evo. I can’t even tell how it’s any different from the one we already have lol.
A 32 inches MTB ????🤔🚲
Hopefully & possibly there is more to come in 2027, both modern & old racing cars, & few new tracks perhaps.I think where the 88C-V lacked in real world pedigree, it makes up in it’s cultural impact with the very many who enjoyed it and saw it as one of, if not the best car in it’s class in GT4/5/6.
It’s sorta just become a “ Gran Turismo kinda car “in my opinion.
Not a priority within the context of modern racing games certainly, but a great nod to the older GT fans maybe, eh?
I imagine the R390s (road/race) are maybe much higher on that list of possible inclusions anyway with regard to culturally significant cars from older GT games yet to see a modern HD refresh. 😅
I’m excited either way as I’ve been grateful seeing so much content added to GT7, I’m genuinely and delightfully shocked! 😄

^This. I wouldn't expect any surprises.More than likely after. Just like this one.
You forgot more engine swaps and scapes/liveries mods. Even adding more unique colors other than the standard ones.Hopefully & possibly there is more to come in 2027, both modern & old racing cars, & few new tracks perhaps.
