Why do they need the ft1 Road car when they have enough gr3 Road car variants

lol me, I got two of them as daily gift, that's why I didn't know :)

Don't like that XJ13 and 330P4 are Gr.X... don't like it at all...
It is the only logical think to do they are old prototypes

A destruction derby! ;) :p
Indeed. People have this inability to brake earlier than their usual 110% 'onit' hot lap pace when there is a car right infront of them about to brake too. Like, think about it for a second. The likely hood of that guy braking exactly as late as you ( not you personally :p ) is small, you ARE going to hit that guy. What do you do though? Yup, brake late af. Smash! "oh sorry my bad".

Brake lighter and earlier, modulate the braking to stay right behind the guy while giving you a little comfort space. This works because often late braking hurts corner entry speed, so you trade one with the other to stay on him.

/rant :D

Honestly I could do without major damage in this game. I'm sure they don't want to enforce wreckless driving, but they just want to go for that "battle scar" look on the cars if you hit something, which really doesn't bother me. As seen in that one video posted awhile back , I think having a door fall off and for it to not crumple at all though, is a bit unrealistic...I doubt hinges would break that easily IRL either. I mean, this isn't GRID 1, this is GT Sport...they've literally made us watch two videos on sportsmanship before going into "Sport" mode.

Doors can be pretty sturdy.

They have "damage" on in the FIA races and it's completely pointless an nothing more than an annoyance. Bring the real wreckage back woudl at least be entertaining.

They already teleport you back into the race when you go off, so let the wreckage happen. Let it be spectacular. BTW, I managed to lever the trunk lid open on a V8 Vantage in the today's Tokyo race, so they are still making the cars in bits and pieces. It didn't open much, but it opened and then shut again. I forgot to save the video.

But this is going off topic, although I would love this to be in another thread.

Back ON topic, I think this year will be mostly be the cars that were introduced in GT6. They are the ones that would have been modeled with the dynamic tessellation in mind and likely have high res versions near ready to go.

Surely you mean GTE?

Nah I literally meant the GT3 version of the Ford GT. The GTE version would be even nicer and probably make more sense on account it's more modern and a bit better aerodynamically wise..

Hopefully the B.O.P of the cars gets a good update, hopefully they increase the difficulty to grow in the rating, hopefully they put full damage in all GT Sport mode races to achieve that the drivers goes with more caution.
And would like to see an improvement in the penalties also..

Hopefully we can get also more than 3 Daily races and the two "FIA" races just like more events with long races or some championships like kaz was promising before launch...

Sport mode was made to be the "star feature" of the game no?

That's what I expect in the update after 3 months "the same"..

Not impressed with the the 10 recycled cars, would like more variety like a Nascar for the oval tracks or the new Ford GT...

Monza is welcome! And the other track variations... Well... I would preferd to see spa or la sharte or other track sincerely.

Don't care about the events for the offline new "GT mode",find AI bad and to easy.
It's a good update but fully agree. A couple NASCAR's should have been absolutely the priority.

Just occurred to me that with Monza in the game AND the 2016 Audi R18, now I can truly go super authentic:

I was only thinking about that very video earlier! It's a pity that GTS doesn't sound closer to that instead of the crap they have used for the diesels. They have taken such a step backwards.

I owned one too, I do weekly races with fellow owners from S2Ki/S2Kca, we've been racing weekly for about 3 or 4 years now. man, I miss that car.
I like all of it. I'm going to go ahead and assume that the end of each month means we will get a new update with some cars, maybe a track or two and some new layouts and gtleague events. Sounds reasonable to me at least. I'm still holding on to the hope that the S2000 will be part of the 50 cars by March thing. I own one so I really want it in the game lol
Yes we definitely need the S2000, especially since I have one too - MY00 AP1 in Grand Prix White here :)
.
I did not know about the S2Ki members getting together on GT:indiff:.

Could you please send me the information? Thanks.

The diesels sound pretty decent to me. The 2016 R18 sounds pretty accurate when accelerating, though I can’t say the same for under braking.

I don't know, seems like sound wise they've given the most love to the 2016 R18 as it actually sounds like the V4 in real (Not exact, but waaay closer then the 2011 one or the 908)

I’m very happy with this update! I’m really pleasantly surprised by the addition of Monza, my third favourite F1 track (only after Spa and Interlagos)! Kinda wished the McLaren F1 would’ve been the Huayra instead, but I’ll gladly take the F1 anyways. I kind of expected the Ford GT40 to be included, but given that Kaz adores the 2006 Ford GT’s design, I’m not surprised. I have a weak spot for both anyways. Same goes for the Viper! :D

New Lago Maggiore layouts are welcome, I guess. And more GT League events are pretty cool! Now if only the AI would be competitive...

The update as a whole solved the question, wondering if one of the premium Diablos from GT6 would return. I'm glad that this turned out to be the case and it's the Diablo GT too! That's awesome, it's been in very few racing games afterall. I also like the event additions. If PD keeps this up, it should be a fun enough game for me to get by the time I am able to have a PS4.

Track limits will probably be garbage around Monza.

Yes! Thank you Kaz and PD. It’s like Christmas! Was hoping for Monza! Spa, Laguna, and Le mans next?

As happy and excited as I am about getting the McLaren F1... I do wish it came with the HDF high downforce pack. That way I can properly recreate some of those classic F1 liveries!
