Seems that he thinks that the game is for 12-year olds. And they missed the final swear.

Yes tru, but pretty sure Gen Z kids in the 12-16 range will lap up this game just as much as I did when GTA 1, 2, 3 & 4 came out. The swear may be down to the editing.

I also think he made a fair point about Covid and lockdowns, disrupting game production for a while.

personally am glad they didn't release the sequel games so close to each other. I was lucky enough to get GTA-1 on demo back in the day, for me the game also devolves into me just going on rampages, the mission stuff is still fun in GTA3, ViceCity, and GTA4. I still have them for my PS2 and PS3 and breakout GTA4 often, probably play those more than I do GTA5.

a bit nervous about how much space this new game is gonna take up, from all the trailers and renderings Im guessing this will probably take most of the PS5 stock space.

This time, I'm going to be searching for more hiding places. With so much human traffic on screen, it's going to be nuts just "people" watching.

We're now in the final year of our lives pre-GTA6. The countdown has begun.

Let me out in 1 year.

I wonder how many games are gonna release the month before and how many are going to release the month after now that the release date is known🤔

They'll probably still be waiting to confirm those dates when they know Rockstar is locked in. There was a story of a game that delayed to Spring 2026 to avoid GTA's originally thought release this year, and now that it's pushed back to May, that other game's developer is reportedly looking at their options.

I feel any game releasing around the same time will be fine. I mean pretty much any big event releasing that same time should be fine. I doubt anyone are scared.

Oh...

Hopefully the AI Pedestrians in this sequel won't go all bat**** crazy just because you stood next to them.

While I'm aware there's a huge number of people in the world that aren't me, I'm really surprised the majority of what I've seen has been a positive reception to GTA 6. GTA V's story was cool, but kinda lacked depth, and every single character was an objectively terrible person (because satire or whatever). Meanwhile GTA Online started off fairly limited, and with every single update the in-game economy became more expensive, and the methods to make money became more difficult. Everything became so utterly skewed towards making it a microtransaction-driven full-time job that's not all that fun.

I played GTA Online on-and-off until about 2018, and yet I can't think of a single point at which I actually enjoyed any of it, other than rare one-offs. While I know I'm in a minority, I was sort of expecting more people to be less excited for whatever the online portion of GTA 6 will become.

You are definitely not alone with your views on the story & online, even from the most hyped fans. People have noted the same thing about V's story being too humorous where so far, most believe VI will be a more serious tone since the characters are an actual couple & the story is presenting a Bonnie & Clyde feel to it.

Online though, probably has less concerns (besides people agreeing, "No flying bikes") because of the changes Rockstar finally adopted with the QoL updates, and allowing you to run all your businesses in a Private lobby unlike the first several years. One would assume Rockstar will be keeping those changes in place which do make it much easier to make money, otherwise, GTA VI could definitely see some negative reactions coming its way. Unfortunately, micro-transactions will still drive the Online economy as that has been paying for VI's development as much as V's first weekend sales.

I'm hoping offline would be like GTA IV with the expansions similar to TBOGT & TLaTD.
The map looks so huge and interactions look plentiful that us offline folk should be able to play as long as online players.

I just hope it's as detailed and as immersive as RDR2.

I was really disappointed the gunplay in V is like paintball stuff compared to Max Payne 3 that was released a year before. But maybe I expected too much lol

I watched my daughter play RDR2, twice. She loves that game for its detail.

Listen, if we can enter buildings and run up and down staircases entering and exiting each level, I’d be happy.

Sometimes I hop in that game again just to horse around the lake and camping near the beautiful places (while praying I don't get jumped by bad guys).

It's really the most beautiful game that Rockstar ever created.

True. I was feeling cold when one of the characters went up to find a friend stuck in the snowy mountain.

My plan exactly. When I first get the game and get past any pesky action missions I'll just be going for a leisurely walk. Taking it all in.
