Is there any chance you already ran the cup before and sold the Audi Le Mans Concept?
That´s my problem, the Golden Cup has already been there but i kicked the Prize Car out of my garage, time to aquire a new one.
After winning the cup again, i was rewarded with the nice Le Mans Concept again, but the percentage count stayed on the same level and the cup is still marked as not run.

I won the cup before and kept the Audi LeMans Concept.
Later as I figured out the last missing 0,4% to completion I ran the cup again and but the goblet didn`t showed up. :(


And I found another wrong detail:
A mirrored one way sign at the Ring, righthand between kilometer 15 and 16.

But this shouldn`t hurt the gameplay. ;)
 
Do some of you remember Gran Turismo 2? There was a flaw in one version of the game that even if you win every race and prize, your Completion percentage would only read 98.2% than 100%. This has never happened to me because I've never completed all of GT2. So you know what? Perchance there will be some fixing to do to the American release if this such scenario is apparent in GT4.

I myself have that.. (look at sig) But somebody told me that it was rectifiable by changing the language or something...

I have a friend at Ferrari that says Michael Schumacher gives you a sneak peak at the Fiorano circuit in the US release of GT4 :rolleyes:

Changing the language? Interesting... and for the record, I've still beaten only one Gran Turismo: the first one. In fact, I'm listening to some of the music from the menus in this one. If you have all the current GT games, you tend to want to go back, you know?

As I said, WHAT IF what Hyde was talking about actually happened? Would you forgive him or not? Actually, I'm kind of 50-50 on this deal. I've gone from being one-sided to neutral on this whole thing. But we'll see come Feb. 22. Can you dig that? Happy Valentine's! (^_^)

You never know 1 of dads mates was head of the design team which developed the W12 engine used in Bugatti's supercar. They went to technical college together in Austria. ;)

Im sorry i should have been clearer..... in the first post i meant in the US release. The second post was regarding the Arcade mode in Japanese/Chinese release.

But a person of Hyde's friends position shouldn't be leaking, he should be under a NDA whether he chooses to obey it is not my concern but he really should.

I thought the EB110 had a V12 engine. Also, the new Veyron has 16 cylinders -- not 12.

I support Hyde, but unfortunately nothing he has stated can conclusively prove that he has been telling the truth (or lying). Therefore, your question is pointless because this issue won't be resolved. I would suspect that if somehow it was proven that he was telling the truth, most people who doubted him would say nothing, and possibly a few people would apologize or make excuses about how you can never trust anything you read on the internet. If somehow it could be proven that he was lying, everyone would post I told you so's, the mods would close the thread, and that would be the end of it.

BTW: what the heck are people supposed to be forgiving hyde for in the first place?

who's talking about the EB110? bugatti has develloped other engines since that aging supercar. Do some more research and you will see they also had a W12 engine in production.

EDIT: I usually spend more time looks at graphs (like my avatar :sly: ) than looking up car stuff. :)

All good It was basically a Volkswagen/Bugatti effort a few years ago be nice to see it come to fruition as Bugatti's are sexy cars imho
 
Only one week left. I'm pretty sure some of you aren't going to come back to this thread a week or two after GT4 is released and see if "Hyde's friend" was telling the truth or telling blatant lies. When I said "would you forgive...," I was talking about if you thought Hyde's was lying through his typing about what the US version may have.

Just because a person is talking about it, you don't trust someone right away, especially on the Internet. Here on GTPlanet, we have a tendency to want to see pictoral and even video or audio proof of things to be valid. And something like this deal here if pretty big. Now, I don't appreciate all the ranting and all the "this is pointless" talk against me. If I wanted to get bashed on, I'd go into an AOL Chat Room. When I come to GTPlanet, I'd rather make replies with friendly, cool people, rather than rude punks who have nothing better to do but to make fun of 95% of all my posts, or only reply after I make what some consider a "stupid post." You don't want to positively comment or positively disagree with my points, go elsewhere. Ignore me. Put me on your Ignore List. If you're registered and know how to operate these forums, you have no excuse not to use this feature to your advantage. But other than that, I'm not having this. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I guess I'm getting to g**damnded old-fashioned about how an issue like this should be taken. All I do is provide my two cents and I get this "you're not making sense."

Having said this, I'm done here. Did I make sense then, or was my grammar too poor?

Someone please go arrest Hyde for crimes against GT4 humanity!!! lol

we will see when GT 4 is out. but it is indeed right its very unreliable if you ask me.

Oh but its impossible to imagine that someone working on in the Online networking department wouldnt also be qualified to work on home networking aspects of a game? :dunce:

do u think sony will waste money hiring another team to do LAN testing only?

Yes, cause LAN is an big option, not just an small feature, also almost noone uses it(takes to much bull**** and linking PS2)

PS: How do you connect PS@ on the lan? via a cabel? or what?

Anyways GT4 PAL is confirmed to have 2P garage features, so im 99% positive the US version will have it too.

Maybe he is speaking in 'dumb kid' language in hopes he would be better understood? 💡 ....maybe.

Anyways, my biggest issue is having the horse power displayed pre-race. Its frustrating taking a car out and being too under or over powered to be competitive. Its been my biggest gripe since GT2. Heres hoping US gets these corrections and improvements.

I've searched a bit, enough that my slow connection will handle, and i couldnt find anything regarding a press release for the US version similar to that of the Euro version, which included a list of new cars and upgrades. Also, on Granturismoworld.com it seems that they have a location everywhere but here. I'm happy that they fixed certain things such as the Lightning being FR, but we didnt get a press release (as far as i know) and the Euro version comes out later than us...meaning maybe there wasnt enough time to fix our version. If anyone knows if the changes will carry on to us in the US or if perhaps there will be extra vehicles special to just the US, then please post or pm me.

Thanks and sorry again if this is an issue that i have ridiculously overlooked.

Nope, it isn't. There has been no news to my knowledge about the PAL updates being included in the US version. No press release from SCEA, but then again they are a bunch of ****tards anyway. We didn't get concept or prologue, so I'm not sure we will get the PAL updates either.

John BM01 and Wolf: if what hyde has said is true, HE is the one that should be forgiving YOU. If he is lying, then the opposite is true. The fact remains that it is nearly impossible to prove anything over the internet, especially with NDA's and what not making it impossible for Hyde to reveal his source. So, I still think it is pointless to "discuss" if you will forgive hyde or he will forgive you. I'm sorry if I offended anyone, and I know we're all entitled to our own views. Feel free to discuss whatever you want, and I will feel free to pitch in my $.02 when I feel the need.
