No... a D-Box is a hydraulics activated seat and wheel setup. The whole seat moved up.down, left and right. Shakes and dips. Build in surround sound etc.
I ran few laps on a Cruden simulator before, so much fun. Don't personally think it will be harder using such setup as it is quite immersive, maybe even easier to do a good time although physically more demanding.

What AI difficulty setting are you on? Maybe you can turn it down a notch.
Medium. On other disciplines, i can leave every AI behind but in endurance i'm struggling. I think from now on i'm going to turn it down from medium to easy only for endurance.

Try running a Custom Cup first. Pick a circuit you know well, turn the difficulty down to very easy and the race distance up to forty minutes, and use it as an extended practice session.

Okay.

I'm curious though, if the race distance is set to 5x the normal distance, how many percent left the tires at the end of the race

The tyres are scaled to race length....so if you normally end with 30% tyres in an 8 minute race..... you should end with 30% after a 40 minute race.

i see... really want to try the 40 minutes endurance but it sounds really tiring

Same 30-40%. I'm running 3x which is about 24 minutes a race, and I still end about 30.

Don't be discouraged that the AI are unbeatable either. They're not, but you're rewarded more than normal in endurance for driving smoothly. In the other categories hanging the back of the car out just loses you a few tenths. In endurance it loses you a few tenths AND ruins your tyres. You're usually better braking early, rolling through and getting smoothly on the power. You'll be faster, and you'll be faster for longer.

If the AI take off at the start, you may catch them towards the end of the race. It's happened to me a couple of times that they pulled away at the start then I caught them up towards the end. Don't flog your tyres just because you're getting behind, just run your pace and go for the fastest overall race time.

Is anyone able to use their DS3 to navigate menus while a wheel is plugged in? I had to turn my controller off otherwise I couldn't use the paddles to shift.

Cars in Grid Autosport seem slower than in Grid 2. I don't know why, but I think it's like that. I can't even get to 400KM/H in the fastest car, in the fastest track!! Need help please

The cars in Autosport have a more 'authentic' handling system which is why they may appear slower.... to better represent their real world counterparts.

That's a big step-up from Grid 1 where the cars were overpowered and had too much grip.

I remember playing the original Grid where the Audi R10 TDI was only 650HP and can go to 419KM/H.

And lap La Sarthe in 2:50... But even with the very incorrect specs, the first Grid was fun.

Ok wtf these race net challenges are super hard. I tried the new ones with the delta party game I can only achieve a 10,400m as my best I'm trying to get platinum award which is 10,900 I was at it for the last few hours guess I will give it a rest and try later. If anyone has any tips the ai keep bunching up and that's where I'm losing time.

I feel endurance should at least be included with a pit stop. Racing with conserving tyres strategy but without pitstop feels like Initial D races

Are the new ones online already? when i checked 4 hours ago they weren't updated yet.
What are the challenges this time if i may ask? Hopefully some familiar tracks and no reverse this time :P

If you have completed last week's Racenet challenges, be sure to head back to view new challenges. You will also receive a decent payout depending on how well you did! :)

I cursed on Bathurst against the AI. Used some less kind words. Where in game I can apologize?

To bad I can't smash up Ravenwest's trailer in the paddock

On very hard with the Utes the AI is literally unbeatable, they can run impossible lap times, im pretty fast and was struggling to get 2.17s while the AI is doing 2.16.1s like its nothing.
