I hope your USB backup worked, seeing you've been playing loads of GAS the last month? @LeGeNd-1 said afterwards the game didn't recognize his backup save and held it as corrupted to...:scared:

I didn't back it up.

But I see it as a good thing - I probably need to take a bit of a break.

fair enough. trouble is my existing furnishings. a proper wheel requires a proper stand a proper chair and rearranging some other items in the room. in due time i suppose

Or you could adapt what you have already, to suit your space. I used to work in a timber yard and got my hands on many freeby bits and bobs to use :D
 
Alright I'm done with online unless gtp has a group that I can do clean races with? I'm sick of joining in random lobbies and people keep nudging me off the track. I want nice clean racing ones that I can win every now and then.

agreed. last night, i went from green to orange on the basis of being on the receiving end of aggressive nudging off track. i'm not the fastest but i play cleanly

Getting pushed off the track and getting a worse rating because of it sounds like a Bad luck Brian adventure.

I thought issue such as these were taken care of with the supposedly improved Impact Rating?

I always try leave enough room for people to overtake if they can also I watch out when where going around the corner at the same time. But when I overtake people like to push me off the track causing me damage making it unable to drive. I went from white to yellow :(. I want to get the gold trophy to reach lvl 250 online but don't want to put up with those type of people. Hopefully racing with gtp players will make it fun.
 
What I find surprising is that you're surprised by this, considering that it's an issue in every single online racing game.

GT6 is slightly better than Grid, in my opinion. I don't need you to tell me that I'm surprised about this (please). I'm very aware that it happens EVERYWHERE.

Except I've done 335 races online managing to win 90 but finally realised the online community is the same as grid 2 with cheats.

I think online racing is way better than GRID2, if your not enjoying it, set-up your own room with collisions off or just join rooms with collisions off, its just a case of building your friends list with clean racers and knowing the best groups to join, then race collisions on.

Online racing is great fun on this game, anyone not on it is missing out.
 
I find the online playlists to have much more people playing than in the custom lobbies, of which there are usually just 6. Not sure how come that in the whole world there's only 6 lobbies but whatever.
 
It seems every game codies release has save game issues. A few years back playing Dirt on pc my save got corrupt after the first save I did!

I am so used to it after playing autosport I got my usb and did a backup as a precaution and sure enough people are now getting save issues.

Weekend is here, and still no patch... :indiff:
Not playing until they bloody fix this, you can't imagine how eager i am due to not having played for more than 2 weeks due to holidays and now this gremlin roars it's ugly head...
 
Hey im on holiday too so can't play not than bothered about corruption. It seems like a bug that occurs after lots of play time and I haven't even racked up 25% on what some people have played.

Either way i don't want to risk my progress in this beautiful racing game so i'll sit it out until it's here.
@anim8r_uk how's the mood over there at the codies office? Haven't seen you around much this week :D
 
Ah-ha!

I have unlocked K&N - I was achievement-hunting and won the very first endurance championship with Ravenwest, which unlocked them.
