18, been playing since I was 12 with gt4 (my first playstation game). Played a mates gt3 when I was 8-9, and was hooked on gt ever since.

This is very true. I wasn't even a pup when GT1 came out I was old back then by these standards.

As I stated before, I'm 45. I'm with you on that tho, except that instead of riding a YZ, I was the neighborhood jock. Always in someones backyard hittin' homeruns or scoring touchdowns. Man I miss them days. As for games, we had board games, which were saved for a rainy day. If it wasn't raining out, my butt was outside. A far cry from todays younger generation. How times change. Sorry, just a bit of reminiscing for us older folks, lol.

Started playing GT1 in my early teens (13ish I think) and have played the entire series. Oddly enough, I didnt get hooked until GT4 came out. The earlier 3, I mainly just played in the winters and during inclement weather. I wasnt even allowed (parents) to stay inside when I was young. Too many fun things to do to be shoved away in my basement lol. Still have my original PS1 and PS2. I am 23 now.

Yea, its funny these days. When the internet goes down or something happens to the online services, these kids act like its the end of the world and are lost without their internet, lol. They act like these games are a necessity, I consider them a convenience. Just goes to show you how much times have changed.
