GT 6 more often crashes

Is it just me or GT6 crashes a lot more often than before.
I was practicing with my DFGT and when I selected a different track it freezes.
I never had this problem before.
Any idea what's wrong or is it just a bug?

It has freezed while loading races for me. I think it might be because my PS3 is now 6 ish years old and about to die

Could be your PS3 is getting to hot, or could be something else. I had mine freeze this morning when I selected Tsukuba in test drive mode. This is the only time it has happened and I have been playing the game quite a lot every day

I guess I'm lucky, my game thus far hasn't frozen once that I can recall.

Same here. Game hasn't frozen once. Must be PS3. I know for sure that if I still had my old 40gb Fatty(R.I.P), I would be here telling everyone how much GT6 freezes.

The only time my game crashed was when I was doing the first race of the Red Bull Kart Series. I was in the track loading screen then it just stopped.

Seems like the old fatties are the ones that are having most of the problems. While us slim guys are just sitting back and hitting the gas.

I have one of the older slims and the game has crashed 3-4 times. I think twice was after updates, once I was black screened in an online lobby and once was my fault when I accidently hopped in an M4 while I was glitching in version 1.00.

My 80 GB Fatty hasn't given me a single problem apart from the A license glitch (where it loads into an arcade mode race on a different, non-existant track)

I have a less than two year old slim and mine also crashes sometimes.

2 freezes so far online and just when entering the track, Just like it did back in gt5 during one of the older patches so I don't think its a PS3 issue.

So far I've gotten a few crashes with my 12GB PS3 super slim. I have an SSD inside it though.

Nah, I have a 120gb slim and have had numerous freezes and crashes with GT6.
