Then, in the late 1700's, 2 GERMAN inventors created the first Gas-powered cars, they were Gottleib Daimler and Karl Benz. so i proved you wrong rite there.
Secondly, there really isnt an actual way of determining why people in the U.K. decided to drive on the left side of the road.
but they do that in basically the historical CENTRES of the world, wich is the U.K., and Japan.
although they do drive on the right side in germany and other european countries, as well as china and india... the fact is in historical terms, england was creating roads for cars on there side, and germany created them on the other side, sort of like a reason of difference...so technically no one knows who did what first.

Sorry, you're right, allow me to rephrase. The Americans invented the means by which to mass produce automobiles, and make them widely available to the public. Your point about the "historical centers of the world" makes no sense. It has nothing to do with how these things are decided. Even if so, how is the U.K. and Japan "the historical center of the world" they are very far away from each other. I was under the impression that if anything, it would be the Middle East around Israel. You're right that no one here can say for sure why other countries decided that way, but you are wrong that we didn't decide first.

you still cant say that japan, etc are wrong for making there roads on the other side....sure america can send out these "plans" but who really cares?
its each countries own desicion wether to abide by them or not, obviously there "guidelines" are not sufficient for opposite sided countries...and it also explains why germanys, italys, and other LHD countries road systems work better than the U.S.A's, the north american traffic system generally sucks.

I always thought they drove on the otherside cause of the round-abouts or what ever... but eh, thats just me thinking about it for a few seconds... other then that I don't care for the subject... just my future 240 Coupe... :)

OMG... look at these wheels

MRS's handle corners like they're glued to it. They are light, nimble, and well balanced (for grip racing). Keichi took out an MRS against an S15, and just destroyed it on the touge. If you know how to tune this car, it can be a great machine.;)

For now I'm driving a '97 4.6L V8 Thunderbird LX (T-45 conversion), and it's heavy, and barely modded. I'm not putting more money into it because I'm shootin for a T-Bird SC, supercharged torque on demand.

Errr... by the way I'm drifting on an open differential and IRS for now! ;)

Yeah I have the best motoring international dvd where keiichi defeats that silvia.. that was a nice looking Mr-S he had too. I want to deck mine out with Tein colors, green and white.

Just as long as you don't rice it. ;)

i'd rather get the NSX, sell it, then buy an R32 or R33 =]

or an imported silvia or 180sx and use the remaining money to fix it up...

There's a guy that lives (somewhat) near me with a Supra TT that dyno'd at 840hp at the wheels. From what I hear, next month he's importing an R33.
