Yeah, I saw a guy with a 3.2L VR6 TT, on VW Vortex. It was sick, but for my little Jetta, I want to keep the weight down. I want to be able to tackle the mountain passes with ease.
;)

oh yeah, theres a big canadian with a gti 2.8 vr6 swap into his mkII TT golf "GL", a massive 390 hp, just doesnt turn well   the front end keeps sliding, too much weight, tourque, turning force on the tires  :lol it can be said its the only tuning approach to the (insert trendy name)vr6. :)

hmmm sorry, its not your car unless u buy it with money u made urself......im sick of seeing these kids my age driving around in preludes and integras all souped up by there parents money. this kid 17 i know has a prelude with 40k put into the cosmetics and sound system, kid dosent know **** all about cars and when i told him he coulda bought a supra for that money he realised how dumb he was....to top it all off his parents payed for everything.
there is NO possible way a 17 year old outta high school can afford a brand new prelude or evo or integra. thats just how it is.

Here's a few pics of my ride. Its not much, but i love it. Its a 1987 Corolla SR5, darn near mint too. Just waiting for a GTS conversion. I've almost got $500 saved up, and a guy at a junk yard is holding a running GTS for me for the swap :)

Here is my ride at an autocrossing event. I was trying some weight transfer technique on my car to get the rear to swing out some.

Actually, those ToySportTuning coilovers are made with ground control suspension parts, and I very much dislike shizzy ground control parts, so I will probably spend the extra money and get higher quality coilovers from Toda. All of the N/A engine upgrades will be Toda as well when I rebuild the engine, and I have a friend of mine begging me to let him turbo it when its ready for it, lol. I'll probably order their T3 camber plates tho, cuz those are def good. I'm also going to replace all of the suspension bushings with TRD Bushings with a cusco short throw shifter. I'm just waiting on money :)

ToySport? You mean Techno Toy? The coilovers themselves are Ground Control, but the shocks are AGX, if I remember correctly. You can also tell him what parts to use and he will build you whatever setup you want, or even send him your aftermarket shocks and he will make them short-stroke. I've only heard one complaint of T3 and it was resolved immediately, and the only reason I heard about it is because the guy posted on Club4AG before even talking to Gabe. Why get TRD bushings when you can just eliminate the bushings with the T3 4-link setup? Why get a Cusco short shifter with what.. 40% reduction in throw? When you can get a T3 with 55% reduction? =) Toda is good though, they've been around a LOT longer obviously and have built a bigger rep, but Gabe is truly innovative and I believe his stuff may actually be better overall quality. I'm just arguing cuz I'm bored, though, so don't take any of it seriously.

No way, T3 is the way to go for 86 suspension.

He knows what's up. If I was keeping my 86 I would definetely spend the money for a set of his AGX short-stroke coilover kit. *drool*

where do you live? me and some friends are looking to buy an AE86 to use as a project car, if you want to sell it, i'm pretty sure we'll buy it (if you live within driving distance, or if you can find cheap shipping ;x).

I did goto the HyperFest Drifting school with this car too.. pretty fun and light on tire damage since they spray the training course with peanut oil to help out on drifting.. not bad for $50 for 2 hours.

I live in Olympia, Washington. I won't be selling this one for a while though, probably a year or more. It's going to be my street car for a while once I get my next project car. Keep an eye on Club4AG, good deals pop up now and then.

oh oh oh, i have family up in washington (tacoma/puyallup) so i might be up there sometime, maybe we could hang out =]

wont be for a while though, like till summer.
