Wow, i love how i came 6th, 6th, 7th(dropped score) & 4th but im in 8th. Very interesting indeed. I'd just like to re-iterate, I'm still against dropping scores.

Well it's a good thing you mentioned in a 20th time, because this time there's definitely still nothing we can do about it :).

For what it's worth, you are in 7th place without dropped scores. It's not like it made a massive difference...

And anyway, I finished 2nd and 5th and I'm only scored 7th, so it affects everybody. Consistent middle finishes are going to send you down in the results, as everyone else keeps getting podiums, etc.

Hello guys!
I wanna wish you a merry chistmass to all!
I know that is still 2 days left, but i'll probably won't have the oportunity to write this..

Wish you the best for all of you, c ya all at the track :)

Cheers from Chile
Fabian

Merry Christmas to you Fabian! I hope you and your family had a great holiday :)

Same goes to everyone viewing this thread!

Are you all ready for the second half? With two power tracks and two handling tracks ahead, combined with huge ballast differentials between leaders and mid-pack guys, this season is completely up for grabs. Fabian has already missed a race and dropped a 0 score, so one dropped wheel by him and his championship lead is gone!

:) I really hope that nothing strange happen and continue at the lead m8 ;)
By the way, if my internet drop during the race doesn't count as a missed race no?

Have nice year Will, Litchi, Rob, everyone!!
wish u the best guys ;)

By the way, if my internet drops during the race does that count as a missed race?

No, you would get last place points. If more than 1 racer drops, the last 1 to drop would get the highest points of the dropped racers.

Happy New Year GT SECers!

Excited for LeMans. Possibly got a few tricks planned depending on how the race unfolds and who is around me. And I'm determined not to have a messed up qually race for once.

BTW I blame nasty for my 17sec game freeze problem at Monaco. Because you flying down the hill and smashing into me in qually when I was parked up against the barrier at turn 1 is the last thing that happened before stuff got all messed up. Forgot about that till now. Goddamn hooligan!

Second half starts tomorrow! Good luck to everyone! Except Fabian, Rob, Wander and anyone else with more points than me....

Awesome race today guys! Was a great finish throughout. There will be some penalties issued. See website and email for details.

Does anyone realize how tight the standing are now?

1st - Fabian / perrolocomcqueen (BMW M3) - 131 Pts
2nd - Rob / Red_Leader (Nissan Fairlady Z) - 130 Pts
3rd - Derrick / RayzaBlayz (Lotus Evora) - 100 Pts
4th - Chris / Wanderlust2000 (BMW M3) - 98 pts
5th - Bill / iamsupernasty (Mazda RX-7) - 98 Pts
6th - Will / GTP_Litchi (Mazda RX-7) - 98 Pts
6th - Jason / fbmautopilot (Lotus Evora) - 92 Pts
8th - Tim / MrJones_80 (Honda NSX-R) - 86 Pts
9th - Kevin / Whitey093 (Lotus Evora) - 64 Pts
10th - Alec / Isuzuguy02 (Honda NSX-R) - 62 Pts

Only 1 point separates 1st and 2nd!

Only 2 points separate 3rd from 6th!

I predict an epic finish ahead.

Oh my dog, the end is going to be epic. I'll have to practice 4 the next track. I never race there. I'm only confident at Laguna Seca :p

Bit of a boring race for me but I'm not complaining. Looks like Jones rage quit and maybe Whitey too? I bet if they knew 4 people were gonna run out of fuel they'd have hung in there.

Surprised to see I was 15hp down after the race but I guess everyone would have been. I also wondered why it went dark twice. So checked, and you had the time prog set to 19 Bill. 16 was the magic number for that.

And it's not an official complaint because i see you've already been penalised but Perro; you were seriously taking the p!ss with the track boundaries when trying to catch back up after wrecking and dropping to the back. Not really impressed with that.

Yep. This was NOT ok at all. Penalties moving forward will continue to get harsher. There are some places to cut at Autumn Ring, and I will have ZERO tolerance for BS.

Same, i'm really bad on original tracks :scared:

and pretty happy with my 4.31 clean btw, it was a really nice race for me at Le Mans, i love this track :)

Jones definitely rage quit. Whitey I'm not sure about; didn't see him crash or anything? Just dropped.

Also, yea clearly I mis-remembered what you said the ratio should be. No worries lol.

That was a very good time!

Autumn Ring is a really fun track guys, but it's a track that is all about getting into a rhythm. Definitely try to get some practice, because mistakes are easy to make here if you're not comfortable.

Do NOT cut the esses in sector 1!

Rob, it wasn't on porpuse at all mate. I really hate this track for the same thing. I would rather La Sarthe 2005 for try to avoid those problems.

Fabian nobody was forcing you to drive at such a pace that you could not stay wjthin the lines. Everyone else drove at a speed that allowed them to stay in control and keep the car on track. Furthermore, if you cut the track, you are expected to lift off the gas to avoid gaining and advantage.

I have been having a ton of problems recently online. Erratic sound, excessive subtle lag when near others and random disconnects that I didn't used to have. Haven't been able to trace my issue yet. Im sure its on my end somewhere. I was actually set up well and advancing when I got the dc message albeit it was only lap 1 :(

I don't know the track very well. I'll have to excuse myself with that. I always try to be the fastest possible even with no pressure. I didn't saved the race to see the huge cuts. I won't do it anymore, because is not on porpouse as i said. I know when i'm slower than others, and i knew that i would have no shot against the powerful 370Z, but i tried to do my best.
Well, screw it :p, i'll left everything on the next race

It's ok man, nobody is mad. Thanks for understanding. If anyone wants to spend some time practicing this week let me know.

Good luck everyone!

Apologies then. Sorry to hear you're having connection problems. I didn't really have you down as a quitter.

Yeah, it's ok Fabian, we are cool. 👍 But like Bill says, you have to drive within your limits. If you make a mistake and go off track you need to make extra sure it doesn't keep happening lap after lap after lap. Because the more it happens the harder it is to explain as just a mistake/accident. If you are struggling to stay on the track driving at a certain speed then, as much as it may disappoint you, I'm afraid your going to have to go slower. I think with 2 people not finishing the race and a few running out of fuel you should be pleased with 5th. It could, and possibly should have been a lot worse for you.

I was worryingly slow through all of the corners at LeMans so with even more weight and a circuit made up entirely of corners I think Autumn Ring is not going to be at all kind to me. You may have to talk me through the procedure for getting lapped Bill?

I haven't had much time to get on gt5 in the past month so I could absolutely use some track time. Let me know if you plan on setting up a practice room bill, or anyone else for that matter.

Damn guys, i think i'll have some troubles to participate this Saturday :( i have my nephew's christening. I'll try to make it anyways :(, i don't lose the chance of taking the prize

Will do!

Oh bummer man. I hope you can make it!

Left work early today. Will be home around 3pm eastern and will open a lobby for practice.

Ok, finally got round to uploading the Monaco pics. Sorry there's only a few but it's really not the best track for taking photos.
