I'll be signing up (almost 70 yikes) if I decide to go with GTS after it's been out for wee bit and I see if it's worthy of my youthful speed lol. Just promise not to run that big fast tractor over me at the Nurburgring. Wouldn't want to damage any of my brand new pretty race cars. :cheers:

Same boat here, turning 70 in a few weeks. Not sure if the US times would fit in with me down here in Ozz but I might give it a go

Hi Pete, thanks ffor your post partner :) You're 16 hours ahead of East Coast time so unless you take a nap and can be a night owl our Sat and Sunday races may not work but perhaps the races we do on Wednesday at7:30pm (1930hrs) Eastern might work? 💡 Hope so. It appears you've already seen our first page and know how to contact our #1 Geezer - geezer1791 - so if you think it will work out we'd like to have you join us. In any event, wishing you and yours a Happy and Healthy 2019! We elders of the world need all the well wishes we can get eh :cheers:

@Propane Pete , while i mostly play pCars nowadays I do show up for GTS sometimes. I'm in Indonesia (4 hours behind Sydney} I run with some Pals on Oz in the evenings, mostly avid GTS players. FR me and get some fun

Good on ya Soks! We're wishing you and yours a Happy, Healthy and Safe 2019 our friend. Honestly, not really knowing where you are in Indonesia, this most recent Tsunami had me wondering if you were Safe buddy. So happy to see your post partner.

Saturday racing 8:30 am Eastern time - the Blue moon races group 2 TEAM colors for this New Year competition are purple and yellow. The purple to use is in the regular color chart third column from the right and seventh dot down, the yellow is in the special colors either Y2 fluorescent or Giallo Modena. Numbers and name is allowed no other decorations or decals. Should make for some good replays.

Regular races are group 4 we'll choose 2 or 3 cars in the practice session with race hard tires BOP on.

Yes mate I am indeed and, as yet, I have no idea :confused:

I have not been awake long but after a couple of cups of coffee I hope to get that 'eureka' 💡 moment.
 
Geezers and Friends Sunday Races

Good morning Gentlemen. Room will open at 08.00 US ET. Racing starts at 09.00 (14.00 UK time)

GRX day. 4 cars listed below and we will vote to drop one of these before racing starts.

Choices are:
Mercedes AMG VGT
Mini Clubman VGT
Redbull Junior
Renault RS01 16

We will be off to Blue Moon for the final races in GR2, but today we will have 3 colours. Red, Yellow and Green.

2nd place picks next track, last chooses the car.

Guys, I am looking at doing something different alongside our normal get togethers.

I would like to get some sort of league going. One race a week for 8 weeks maybe. One car for all races and the tracks to be raced will be set in advance so we all have time to practise. Possibly using setups. We will use pit stops, damage on, no boost and with a choice of tyres.

Any suggestions to this greatly received.

How many of you would be up for a test event tomorrow? 15 min practise, then 15 min qualifying. 2 races of 20 minutes with the second race reverse grid.

Any comments and help with this greatly appreciated.

If any of you up for tomorrow, we will use the GR4 Ferrari and track will be Barcelona. I will open a lobby at 11.00 US, 17.00 UK time. Probably be around 1 hour 30 in duration.

Would love to participate, but I gotta work. Won’t be home until 2:00 US Time. Sounds fun
