I could see Goodwood coming back as a special event next year,as for the cars,i wonder if GT had any sort of best of the show awards at Goodwood like they had with the Mach 40 at SEMA

GT isn't doing best of the show awards in Goodwood yet, solely just being a main sponsor for the event. Instead, GT does often doing world premiere reveal there, for example the Aston VGT, Nissan VGT were introduced in Goodwood for the first time to public few years ago and then there is this year Vazirani Shul.
However, aside SEMA they already did kind of those thing in Pebble Beach for a long time and in my opinion those award winning classics need to be in game! If I'm not wrong, Miura P400 S and Ferrari P4 is among them so the rest of the awarded cars should follow I think.

Funny thing ! I visited the 70 years of Porsche exhibition in Zuffenhausen last weekend and they have this in front of the house :
So I was quite astonished to see this year's Goodwood monument

My uncle had a 914 when I was a kid. Fun little car. Mid-engine, RWD. Had a choice of either a VW 4-cyllinder air-cooled engine or the 911T 6-cyllinder.
Don't scoff too much at it, a 914 GT apparently placed 6th overall at the Le Mans 24h in 1970.

One of my older cousins had one(can't recall what year model) back in '78. Yellow with a black stripe. I was 7 at the time and I'll never forget that car. He used to live across the street from my Grand-Father, in Amityville. Awesome memories.A quick and dirty one :
