TMMI've tried it on different races so yes I know what you mean. Great fun though if you don't mind not winning. They are popular yes, but they don't make that many, I think they are even hand made so they can't mass produce. I'm not sure that they are avaulable in the States which probably explains why you have never seen any. If you watch Le Mans you might see them in the background as the LMP's rush past, sometimes the TV director in England follows one for a while which is nice but it is a rare treat for us TVR lovers.
One day I would like to own and drive a Cerbera, the only car that Clarkson's scared off.
The Cerbera is sweet in GT1! Quite a world of difference from the Griffith. Even when I was in California I never saw any TVRs. I think it's just that nobody here even knows they exist, except for Gran Turismo fans, and so there's probably no dealers in the states. . This is the same deal with Skylines, I never even heard of one till I started GTing.
What about Aston Martins? Are they as bad as Gran Turismo makes them out to be?
