word with 3 or less char won't be searched.once i saw a screen shot of GT2 in 800x600, sharp as hell. Can gt2 be played on pc? If yes, how?....the search feature sucks here.

ok guys,
i just installed the psx emu software and all neccessary plugins and bios and all that, and i ran GT2 arcade disc...and i just went into a race, but the only prob i have now is...the game runs horrible fast...its very hard to control the car...the music...videos everything runs very very fast.
what i have to do to get it to normal speed?
Funnily enough, GT2 is the last game I think of when I think of the benefits of higher resolution (because bleemCAST! does higher res textures in GT2 better than ePSXe does). Now J&L:SCR (A.K.A. TOCA 3), that is a game that benefits from better res.
R4 is as well. It's rather scary how held back some later PSX games were.
bleemcast!:Do you happen to have a comparison shot between ePSXe and bleemcast running gt2?
I'm interested in how bleemcast improves the textures![]()

what do you mean by polygonal tearing? how epsxe screw up the HUD?ePSXe has polygonal tearing in the distance in GT2, but bleemcast plays just like someone doubled the resolution and added AA (which is what bleemcast did). bleemcast also doesn't screw up the HUD like ePSXe does.

I get this when I try to load the Arcade disk:

Do I need another graphics plugin? Bios?
I think so too, using highest quality in video card could improve it. Maybe full antialiasing feature can help too.The first can be explained by mipmapping i think. Check your video card settings (mind you, not in the emulator) and make sure they're on 'highest quality'..

Nice.
BTW, you can use anisotrophic filtering to get better background.
