my gf works at the new tesco extra in stockport it isnt in there till wednesday.

I have been reliably informed, however, that it was in the big new Tescos on the M60 in Stockport yesterday. Was tempted to head down last night, since it's only one junction away, but thought better of it. Just gotta hope my copy from Play.com is waiting for me when I get home...

new tesco near me doesn't have it the new Express tesco in stockport the largest in the UK and it doesn't have it! Bummer!

Why are people so hung up about getting the game a day or two early? I only got mine early because I happened to be in Game and saw my mate. Otherwise I'd have just waited until Wednesday. It's only a bloody game after all, and once you've got it, the novelty wears off anyway.

It's been years since the release of GT3 - waiting a day or two more is no big deal, especially when you consider that gaming is actually only a very small part of my life.

Anyway, I should hopefully have my copy of GT4 tomorrow if all goes well with the royal snail. which it usually doesnt. (bunch of slack jawed yolkles, yee haw!)

Been to Argos, Woolworths, Blockbuster and Tesco, no one was selling it yet, although woolworths did have a think on shelves saying it was out tomorrow, i thought i'd be waiting till friday!
Wednesday is a good day for the release as i'm only at college forthe first two lessons i finish at 10:35am. Guess where i'm going straight after.

BTW your new car sounds pretty good, i hope it all goes smoothly on sunday.

Its all BS.. I checked at over 5 large tesco branches and they ALL said they to be released on the 9th March. They are NOT releasing it earlier due to fines being imposed.

is this BS or is it legit cos Tesco is outta my way but Im gonna trek up there...so let me know if Im wasting my time please. cheers!

It's Kasabian - Reason Is Treason, isn't it?

As much as I like that song, I don't think it fits the "feel" to the intro.

Meanwhile, I checked -

Game (all THREE of them in Bromley), HMV, Argos, Index, Dixons, Virgin, Woolworths and Gamestation in Bromley - No luck.

Argos had it in the catalogue for £30, but I checked it on the stock thingy - it said "sorry, this item is not available", I was tempted to try and buy it and convince them it was released today.

Does Elmers End Tesco sell games? If so, and if it's open 24h... then I'll pop down at midnight.

Edit - They don't... does anyone know a Tesco around Bromley/Beckenham/Orpington that's open 24h and sells games?

Tescos in Sheffield did have GT4 for sale, on Sunday at least, but they have either sold out or been sapped on the wrists for selling it early. Amazon emailed me this morning to say that the copy that i ordered is on hold because my card is out of date (it wasn't when i placed the order!) so i've cancelled it cause it wouldn't get here until Friday otherwise - how much are Game charging for it?

That's one thing I love about Gran Turismo games, the music is always great - brilliant driving music.

I just popped into my local independent shop at dinner and they'd just received a delivery of GT4's. I'm now holding it in my grubby mitt and will be getting stuck in after the Utd game tonight.
