And you are correct, you unlock tracks in GT Mode. You have to pass 350 days (or 50 weeks) to unlock all arcade mode tracks. LeSarthe II (the fast one) is the last track to unlock.

Yes I played it at my cousin's house. It was ****, the top speed on any car
in NFSU is only a measly 225mph! :yuck:

Don't get me wrong when I say this, but I kind of miss that (bug/glitch, wutever its called) that let the GT-One Race car and a few others go like 1000 mph. Too bad PD fixed that. I liked going super fast and crashing, even if it was the test course. I think they took it out to avoid cheating with A-Spec points, and just because it was wrong, but seriously, it made the test course a way better track to drive than it really is. I mean, I enjoy slip stream battles and stuff, but not for an entire race. That's what we have LeSarthe II for (and Nurburgring, sort of).

GT4 just stole NFS:U's crown of 'my greatest gaming moment'.

Previously, it was NFS:U's drag mode that blew me away, with its speed and overall 'wow' factor. You'know...

Well, after doing the graduation test for the iA licence, going 220+mph down the 6km straight on 'Curcuit de la sarthe 2'. I have to say i was completely amazed at the sense of speed. For the first time ever, it actually felt like i was going at the speed i was going at. GT4's sense of speed is amazing. I was actually happy to re-do that licence test to get the gold. Now i just gotta find out how to unlock that track in arcade mode....:). (Curcuit de la sarthe 1 is crap btw) The one in the licence test had no stupid turnings in the middle of the 6km straight. (iA, i know the version in S licence with the Bentley is the 'crap' version of the track)....=\

I just wanted to say, it is possible to get the Toyota GT-One up to speeds of Mach 2.5 in GT3.
Yep, I said Mach 2.5...1800mph.
While I couldn't show you a video or even a screenshot since I gave away my copy of GT3, I do have my saved game for GT3 with a Test Course track record of 58 seconds (I think, something like that).

So, that's 10 kilometers (or whatever Test Course's length is) in under a minute.
I haven't tried any of the old tricks in GT4 yet, but I bet I can do it again.

Mach 2.5?! i do believe you. they had to take out that speed glitch in GT4.
After all it is called "the real driving simulator" isn't it?
 
my fastest car is my fully tuned Ford Gt,(the one u can buy from square one) i got it to go 245.00 on the test coarse, under time & speed.

anyone know if u can go faster then that on the car?

I think that PAL users are getting angry because the NTSC and japenese versions
get the black F1 cars. And we get nothing.
The same as GT3, i was looking forward to use the six formula one cars but i could'nt get them after finding out on the PAL prize car listing :( . I know that only the Japenese version could have the Diablo because of a strict agreement with the JGTC. But the NTSC with the Porsche 911(996)?!
The Porsche is European for **** sake! :mad: We should have only been able to get the Porsche!

I think PD have to get their act together in GT5 otherwise i won't be buying the game 👎

Same goes for the Lancia Stratos and Alitalia rally car

I would have greatly appreciated if they put the M-spec Skyline,Diablo 911(996),
F094/H etc., and Stratos and its rally car :) But it seems that they did'nt :( :banghead:

You have done a mistake. In the PAL version of them game you are getting the F1, but, only if you have 100% ;) And, again, there is no Porsche in any versions of the game. Or it's just the license plate saying that.

Anyway, I've just figured out something. The Subaru 360 you win from the Subaru 360 race has sam amount of HP as the 360 you buy from the dealership with a oil change :dunce:

Which version of GT4 have you got Cosmic?
Cause you come from Sweden and i'm from the UK and they both have pal versions :)

One question, though... Anybody with PAL ver. tried transferring saved photos to a USB thumb drive or even straight thru to an Epson printer?
(I bought an Epson Stylus Photo R200 last weekend, compatible with GT4, but haven't tried printing anything from GT4 yet, cable or thumb drive...Really, really nice printer, especially for $99.)

I guarantee, DevilGTx, that the Epson printer will work. :) I tried it at my cousin's house with the NTSC version and it worked completley fine :) Have fun printing

My cousin has all three versions. Japenese,PAL and NTSC. The Epson printer works on all three versions :) :) :) :) :) ;) :sly:

I am an artist. I create oil paintings (mostly of cars and other vehicular machines like planes and spacecraft) based on photography. I use a technique that allows me to paint very photorealistic images somewhat based on the "optics" techniques of the ancient masters from centuries ago. I hope to begin my own little enterprise soon, and begin selling paintings. maybe you'll see my stuff on EBay or something.
 
See, even a regular print-out from GT4, on a high-quality white paper, with a simple rectangular matting, would look cool, and would probably sell like fresh Krispy-Kremes. 4th of July festival booth or something...$5 a piece?

Taken two weeks ago at the Taj Kreuzers Porsche show at Carrilon Park in Dayton.
A nice man named Steve was there from the new Porsche dealer in Dayton, and he answered some questions I had and then...
HE ASKED IF I WANTED TO GO FOR A RIDE!!!
So I did.

PM me and I might be able to send you the vids.

Hope to have this painted after the GP today.
