only thing is if that is the pr order price then it would be like paying $90.00 for the game,
that kind of sucks,
but ist worth it i think.

Last week's column sparked numerous letters focusing on the real release date of Gran Turismo 4. Several readers wrote in claiming they knew insider information pointing to the exact date of its release. One letter informed us that an "SCEA support guy" reported that in a Sony internal memo the game is said to be requiring the HDD. Another letter pointed out that Amazon had the correct release date, citing December 26, 2003 as the real date. And yet another reader said because his father had "connections" he knew the game would come out this September. Sigh.
 
The new PSM reports that there will be much more than 500 cars for GT4, but there is only 50 laps. What exactly makes up the 50 laps is still unknown. It can be just variations of the laps that we know will be in GT4.

I have to say that is an awesome deal... both GTC and GT4 are coming within a few years, thank god. I thought I'd never see the next GT. :(
 
Question: does anyone know if ONLINE gameplay is FREE? You know how Socom is free to play online but FFXI isn't? I've been wanting to know this forever. :banghead:
 
it will be free, the reason FF online isn't free, is because you have to pay for storage on servers, games that don't require any server storage use, are free most of the time.

Gran Turismo 4 is due to come out on December 26 2003 or January 1 2004 or January 6 2004. This is the complete truth all the information I am getting is from PolyphonDigitals interview with GameInformer and the website for Gamestop and Electronic Boutique. These are the websites where i got this information.

This is old information. It was on a French web site about 10 days ago. New info, and I don't remember where it is, has come out that GT4 will be a world wide release, and on, or around the 10th of December. Some have said it will be released between the 10th and 16th of December.

A popular softwear retailer has said the launch date is 12th of December. They are seen as the most reliable with the release date of games, so people have taken their release date as law, as do I.
