Edit: Although I’m not particularly fond of the V8 dinosaurs, I continue to hold out hope for a BA version.

Yes, the confusion arises because there was a rebranding. In 2001 Tickford was bought by Prodrive. The resulting Ford Australia/Prodrive alliance was renamed Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV). The Tickford name is no longer used.

I think it is quite likely that the newer, FPV BA V8 Supercar will be included, becasue there was a report that Polyphony took data on the car, and it makes much more sense to include the newer model from a marketing point of view.
 
The car should be listed as Tickford (same one from GT3) or FTR (Ford Tickford Racing), FPR resulted after the Tickford name change to FPV.
 
The only brands that were present in the Australian car town were Ford, Holden, and FPV, so the car has to fall under Ford or FPV.

The 2004 STI Spec C does not feature in any version of Prologue. The standard 2002 STI does however.

2005 Chevy C6 Corvette
1991 Chevy S10 Syclone
2006 Dodge Magnum Police edition
2004 Dodge SRT-10
2004 Dodge SRT-4 Neon Extreme Lightweight
~2004 Mazda RX-8 turbo concept. Very cool concept from Mazda Australia.

Silly, but interesting:
2004 Rolls Royce Phantom (6.75 litre V12)
2005 Bently Arnage (6.5L V8)
And of course the various GM concept cars from days gone by.

Historical cars that are interesting:
MGB
Triumph TR6
1966 Lamborghini Miura fastest car in 1966, 352hp V12, 170mph
1987 Ferrari F40
1992 Yamaha OX99-11 I remember reading about this and the McLaren F1 at the same time as they were both rather similar.

Super cars:
2004 Bugatti Veyron 1000hp sounds fun.
2004 Koenigsegg CCR Possibly the fastest production car in the world.
1997 McLaren F1 Getting old, but can't be beat.
1996 Vector M12 (or WX3 or W8) Vector deserves to be in there!
2002 Mosler MT900 Perhaps not the highest top speed in the world, but likely the quickest around a track!
2004 prototype Chrysler ME Four-Twelve This is going to be one quick car!
200x Ferrari Enzo, etc
Lamborghini Diablo GTR, etc

I know the reasons for there are licensing issues to contend with for at least three of those brands, but some of those cars could make it into the game. I'd rather see some of those different vehicles than 15 very similar Subaru WRX STi cars. It's a great car, but I'd rather see some others in the game before getting 14 additional variations on it. :)
 
i want the pulsar gti-r to be in the game......now thats a car that will beat any civic...all my friends have them have pulsars and starlets...they keep up with the evo's on the drag strip (a bit off topic)

Guys, this thread is for the discussion of confirmed cars. This is NOT, and never has been, a wishlist thread or a "I wanna see..." thread. I highly suggest you cut out the wishing and chit-chat... The 359 is not as forgiving as I am.

The Prototype Impreza (from GT3) was type GD I. Using your Mitsubishi style nomenclature, that would make it a version VII.

So this i take it isn't the complete GT4 car list? If so you have to admit the car list is pretty impressive so far, and there is more to come if it isn't complete.

What do you think chances are that we will see the new 274hp AWD Mazda 6 in the game? Its actually one of the cars I am concidering on purchasing if it is a better price/performance than a STi or Evo.
