i don't like Hong Kong, opera, snow tracks, used to hate nurb, now i love it, citti di aria is good/bad (depends on how i'm doing ;) ) and i also don't like tsukuba (tsukuba 9hrs is the only endurance race i b-speced) new york endurance race was almost a b-spec too.
if i had to pick a favourite track, nurburgring, or trial mountain.

I LOVE the 'ring. I LOVE citta 'di aria, Infineon Sports car course, Laguna Seca, and Suzuka.

I HATE Citta di Aria reverse, Tsukuba, Infineon Stock car course, Super Speedway, Hong Kong, New York, Seoul, Fuji '05.

I hate the Ring for one reason and only one reason: License IA-15. It makes me so stressed! More than 9 minutes thinking: Oh god I am gonna crash at the next turn and restart...If I go too fast, I crash. If not, I do not get the CENSORED medal.
I love the Test Course, La Sarthe...well, any track with a looong straight.

The course I DEEPLY hate the most is Hong Kong. It is too narrow to allow any opening up on the car. I can't maneuver any turn the right way, especially the first 5 turns of the track. I really hate how there is a straight in the middle of the course and that you have to brake to like 30 MPH to make the turns on either direction forwards or reverse. It is like a deformed version of New York.

I don't like sarthe 1. The chicanes on the straight just bug me.

I kinda like sarthe 2. nice long straight, but can't they fix up the track so that it ain't so bumpy. If it's really this bumpy in real life I probably wouldn't stand driving in the real 24h of Le-Mans

*i hate Hong Kong track...nonsense at all.....accelerate and then brake....steer.....the only challenge is that track is narrow....even AI cars sometimes fumbled by hitting the apex wall....LOL

@Thread-Opener: You can't drive Nordschleife? Then you have to learn to drive. If you don't understand the meaning of braking and ideal lines, then you should quit this game. If you get older and more mature, you'll see that tracks like Nordschleife, Infineon, El Capitan, Suzuka are really challenging!
Try a RUF on the Nordschleife and just enjoy it driving sideways 👍

Wow relax, you dont have to humiliate someone for knowing less than you. Remember everyone's learning curve is different.

Please note: Mukai posted that "humiliating" response at least several months ago (maybe more). I couldn't even find his response! So when you respond to someone who posted something awhile back, it's like talking to an empty room, possibly, as Mukai probably isn't even here anymore.

After playing it some more these past two weeks (been on uni holidays), I have to say, I hate Tsukuba. It's short, flat, boring and way too many races are held there. That's the one thing I never got about the GT games: why some venues seem to hold twice as many races as others.

I hate : Nurburgring (too long, can't predict for braking; don't have ideas why), Cita di Aria reverse (steep downhills), ice arena, chamonix
I like : SS Route 5, Seattle, Suzuka, Deep forest, both paris, el capitan :sly:

honestly i like a good challenge so the simple courses like motorland and twin ring motegi super speedway are slightly boring to me but i dont really hate any track. i enjoy the challenge they present.

i cant believe some people are saying the nurbergring....

Probably because they fail on it. :D

I HATE HONG KONG. HAAATE!

I still don't know why some people are saying "Hong Kong". Although I don't hate it, I would love to substitute Rome Night from GT2 instead, since that track has much more of a flow.

I really don't like those Fuji Speedway tracks, and no matter what, I just never have any luck with Tokyo, even after many years. It's like Im fast there, but far from perfect.

New york is so simple it's not funny.

half a zillion 90 dgeree turns, one roundabout. that's about it.

Hongkong is a mess in GT4, but in TT, it's brilliant. I can't believe people are saying opera. that track is fantastic.

-> Here are my hate list (no paticular order):

- George V (Paris) [so many blind corners, too dark, confusing road signs]
- Opera (Paris) [everything is so flat, too technical, no space for fun]
- Infineon (Stock Car Track) [confusing corners, meaning less banks, argh!]
- Hong Kong [because it was set on at night, but if it was on day time then it would be a different story)
- Test Track [too boring in general, the GT1-2 spec was more exciting]

-> Here are my all time Faves:

- Nurburgring North
- El Capitan
- Autumn Ring
- Deep Forest
- Trial Mountain

HATE LIST: to date. OPERA PARIS! omgoodness... concur with vanishing boy.. its too technical with all the sharp corners and slow speed bends

LOVES:
-el capitan
-trial mountain
-deep forest
-THE NUR
-"the squeezy italian track for rallying"
-tsukuba

im sorry vanishing boy but the test track on GT2 was so small it could barely be used properly, you had to break before every corner if you were going over 180mph, plus, how could we do top speed runs if we had that tiny track? Even in the HKS drag car i could only hit 430kmph.

All the street circuits with the possible exception of Tokyo R246 and New York which i can just about bear racing on.

Test Course in GT1 and GT2 feels more exciting than in 3 and 4 since it's got all those bumps; however, it is highly unrealistic in those earlier games.

Test course-> The GT1-2 test track is more fun with competition. While the GT3-4 version is better primarily for testing puposes. :)
