The problem with the radical is that they aren't using the same car for everything. The car that goes for road tests and is actually street legal in most places is just the standard car. The SR3 turbo is the one who lapped the ring with such an incredible time and may be street legal in one country, but of that I'm not even sure.

If the ring is in, it means that cars will finally have to trully leave the ground !!!!

eheheh

Flugplatz and Plantzgarten, here I come !!!

Biggest question now:

Nurbergring, Piazza de Marco and Capri on PAL Prologue? Those are all euroopean tracks, and Nurbergring is far most famous. No need to say nothing about additional sales-push in european market.

Answer in just 15 days.

I'm waiting to see some videos from E3 showing the track in action but damn, that's such good news. Even if I don't get Le Mans now I'll be stoked.

As for the AI, we're 10 seconds a lap faster on most circuits, this one's 4-5 times as long... Online competition, that'd be something else...

Dear Spada, just hope that this wasn't regarding my post.

OK for the ring ( even if the pic is not really accurate IMO) ..

stupid question concerning the pic with the McLaren ... is this an already known track ? ( not tsukuba , the other I can not recall ) or is it a new one ?

I can't remember a section with such a corner and such red and white border.. ?

Am I wrong ?

im kinda slow i guess, i dont understand the 10 second thing.

Well, if we're 10 seconds a lap faster over a 5k circuit say, and this one's 22, then at the same pace we should be just over 4 times further ahead, so 43 seconds.

McLaren shot in question.

Nurburgring2.jpg

Picture of Nurburgring circuit, real life.

On a side by side comparison, I'm not 100% certain but they're similar.

I would not say it's the ring as the real pic you inserted shows a real narrow section of the ring whereas the GT4 pic shows a more modern raceway...

but do you also think this may not be GT4:p track ?

About those two pics: That is quite clearly the same piece of track! It looks more modern because of the clean kerbs and billboards + you can't see the straight section going off up the hill because the difference in the angle of the two shots is deceptively different - Look at the orientation of the small straight section the yellow NSX is on compared to the photo. You can see the same fort in the background!

The real picture is further around the corner, hence the orientation is different. If you imagine the real pic moved around the location of the GT camera, the resemblance is actually pretty striking.

Since it's a GT4 pic I'd have to assume it's a GT4 track ;) Whether it's the Nurburgring is open to debate but the similarities are pretty evident.

That looks like Fuji to me, seeing as that Hart advert is in the same place in GT4:P. Although i'm not sure if you get that camera view in the replay. But i'm pretty sure that's Fuji.

That camera angle is deceiving, it's not a major elevation change like the photo. Also that SSR sign is another giveaway and the background is different, i'm pretty sure it isn't a shot of the Nurburgring.

Ehh, nah. You can't drive it without a helmet. It's not a car, it's a bike with 4 wheels.

You can - and if you drove it on British roads wearing a full-face helmet you would be stopped by the police. It's illegal to drive a car wearing a full-face helmet (which is why rally drivers used to take theirs off between stages - now they have open-face helmets)

nope you guys there have ntsc and we have Pal, so you need either a modchip or a swap CD

I read the press release but i still cant believe it, is it really true THE Nordschleife (Its also called Die Grüne Hölle (The green hell) in GT4, o let it be true.

"The most beautiful race track on earth, but equally the most dangerous too. If the Nordschleife is new to you and you would like to drive it on the public tourist sessions, you may want to read our Safety advise":D

Or play GT4 first:D

Since we are going to be talking about this track so much, I don't want to look like the idiot. Could someone who knows how please phonetically spell out Nurburgring Nordschleife for me. I'd rather ask now, then be laughed at later. Thanks :)

nuer-byurg-ring nord-sh-life-ae?
with "r" sounding like german accent

i wrote "burg" as "byurg" - dunno if it's really correct but it shouldn't be pronounced as regular word "burg"

Look at this i dont think it was posted before.
This is part of track i think were the skyline is racing if you closely look at the middle of the picture there goes even a car. theres a bulge in the strait. the picture was taken in 1973

And Nursnow??? pic taken Dec. 2001 6 months after GT3 came out in Europe:confused:
