Hi P2C,
yes I know the Ring in real. I go there every year with friends to drive since I've known this track 3 years ago. It's like a drug now  .
I don't know the PGR2 version, I don't want to know it because if I do I will sure want to buy an X-box then  .
So I wait patiently the PS2 version.

First look: it is less beautifull than in real but it's normal they need to simplify the graphics.
In second, a thing shocks me on the Planfstgarten pic it seems to be not really like real as you can see on the onboard camera capture: it's not as straight as in real.
But wait the final version to see...

I noticed something a little bit surprising, when I saw the intro with the view of a helmet, I saw a Bentley Continental GT on one of its reflections.

Right 359, I had to rewind twice to make sure it was a Crossfire. you sure know your cars man.

Interesting how people complain about Vitz races on Test Course. this has to be 5x worse with the Midget being 7x

No the Beetle at the ring can not be worse than the Yaris (Vitz) at the test track, all you do in the Yaris is full throttle and left a bit, left a bit, at least at the ring you have to do more to keep your attention.

I LOVE the Beetle. If you need some traffic for online races, let me and my Beetle at it!

My mom drove several of them and my dad once restored one from the ground up and did a custom, deep blue paintjob on it.
It's always been a dream of me to buy one, restore it, put racing suspension in, put racing brakes in, and put a new high-powered Porsche motor in.

I hope the Beetle can be turbocharged. I'm going to OWN the Ring in my Beetle!

Woo... A beetle... o_O You people worry me. At first I thought those captures were edited, but the suspension compression and placement would be pretty impossible to fake. Unless you're REALLY bored I guess.

Yes, the Ring will be more interesting than the Test Course, but it'll still be a tad slow for my liking in a Vitz or something similar. Still, worse things have happened.

And yes, 'ring' is added to pretty much everything, not just in Germany: Nurburgring, Hockenheimring, Hangaroring, and so on.

Why is it more fun driving a beetle on the Nordschleife than driving a Vitz? I call it OVERSTEERING. This is almost impossible with the Vitz, but the good old beetle makes it, yeah.

Only boring part on Nordschleife for a Beetle is the very long straight called "Döttinger Höhe" (you can see it on the screenshot with the Skyline and the Nürburg itself, the castle on the right side of the horizon). Therefore you need a lot of patience.

I'm glad to see that there will be a course now that more represents what it is like to say drive fast in real life through the back roads. Yeah sure it's more fun in real life, but it also costs more.

The Pescalero race car is next seasons, also the Xanavi Skyline and Woodone Supra and the Takata NSX, the Cusco Impreza and I'm sure theres more, oh yeah the BMW 320 ETCC. Remeber weve seen less than half of the total number of cars so far.

They already have the Atsra DTM, they should put that GT racer from Brazil I think into GT4 which would be a better repredentation of south America.

Trust me, when you race the nurb you will smile like fools. It really is one of the most incredible tracks ever, it's just about the only track I race on pgr2 online (just been on it for 2 hours online lol), and it's an utter blast. Even 2 laps of this thing is nerve shredding in the higher power cars lol. It's just the perfect track. We are in for a treat :D

I have a dream, gt4 online, 6 cars, on the nurb, oh yes.
