Yes but the forest isn't very nice but I'm fine with that as long as it is the Nord.
Check the E3 thread.

There is nothing confirmed on GT4 having the Nordschleife. We all hope it's in but even KY said the PS2 couldn't handle it. Lets all keep hoping until otherwise proven but remeber nothing is confirmed on it yet.

Nurburgring Nordschleife – Featuring a ‘rollercoaster-style’ race course with various elevation changes and turns, located in the wooded hills of the Eifel plateau in Western Germany, Nurburgring is widely regarded as one of the most challenging race courses in the world. Opened in June,1927 with a total length of 20.8km and a total of 73 corners (33 left, 40 right), the track is considered legendary and mythical amongst many motorsport competitors and fans. The Formula One Grand Prix makes its stop at Nurburgring every year for the official Grand Prix of Europe and many auto manufacturers from around the world use the track as a testing ground.

Ooooh, thats new to me, cheers for the link.

Heh nearly missed it in the E3 thread...

But yeah will be really cool if its in GT4, good fun in PGR2 particually in the wet :D If it is indeed in (& the full length) I wonder if it will handle 6 opponents. Bet there would be an endurance race on it ;)

Yeah like 70 laps of Germany's Finest or something!!!!

Looks like psm was full of bs, oh well, wont trust them anymore but who cares? This is gt4 we are talking about! With Nurb! Man, that's a long track, how long would it take you to finish one lap in a race car on the Nurb?

6 minutes 40 seconds in a Porsche 956, in 1982, give or take a few seconds, of course. Road car record is at 7:32 by the Gemballa GTR600 (and if one doofus talks about the Radical SR3 turbo, I kick his ass. That's not a proper road car.)

If it's accurate, which it will be knowing the PD team close to 8 mins a lap in an NSX-R or Corvette Z06 but 5-6 mins in an F1 car going by the 001 in GT3's performance.

Imagine, that would take half a day!

And you call that torture??

It would be if the AI doesn't improve and you will be at 10 seconds after the first lap and so on......

Anything less than a supercar and your looking at 8 mins +.

So I'm thinking a Vitz race there instead of on test course....

ARGHH... What am I saying that would kill me.....

What do they know? They can't even get the stats right. 174 corners, 22.8km.

I will believe it when/if I see it.

I've heard many different stats on how many corners the ring has. But this is straight from Sony, so I will believe this, especially since there are screenshots of it available.

THE NURURGRING WILL OWN!!!!!!!!

You'd come to a halt before completing the first sector.

Yep, my mum had one a loooooong time ago, it cut out going round most corners lol.

That's nurb, the same one in pgr2. So no one worry.

Isnt old nurb 17 miles? The press release says 12 miles. I think the press got some things wrong but I'm not saying nurb wont be in.
