I don't see why we need a guide to the best line, that's something you should just be able to learn from experience.

Exactly 10-15 laps experience and the 170+ corners should start to become familiar. Can't wait to carve it up in my fully tuned Bluebird 1600.

They already have the Atsra DTM, they should put that GT racer from Brazil I think into GT4 which would be a better repredentation of south America.

I think these is the best

I don't think Kev was suggesting it wouldn't be, simply stating it's fun in PGR2. Whether it's more fun in GT4 is subjective.

Hey Bocha, thanks for that pic. I always want to know more about Argentina's race cars.

Although both of our countries are close, the lack of information on Argentine races is enormous. The only stuff we know are TC 2000 championship and some Turismo Carretera.

Plus, you guys have talent for Rally races!

The Brazilian's Stock Car V8 are probably going to do an exhibition race on Argentina. I heard this a couple of weeks ago, from my boss. But nothing is confirmed yet.

Any car at the ring would be just fine for me, but online and with 6 players .... I can't handle that right now...  :irked:

I wont even try to race online on the nurb till I'm truly comfortable with it. I wont make an ass of my self on that track. Is there a track that is longer and more technical than nurb?

Don't think so, in the press conference one of the powerpoint slides said it was the longest track...

Well as for more technical I guess you could debate that but I don't really think so. In terms of length, it's the longest racing circuit on earth, even the old Spa Franchorchamps doesn't come close, and no circuit being built these days exceeds 5-6km (except for that rumoured Swiss GP track) so I think Nurburgring Nordschleife safely holds the crown.

I'm not 100% sure but isn't there an Isle of man enduance circuit madeout on streets thats over 20 miles per lap.

at least we know they have completely finnished modeling nurburgring and tested it... i never knew they were having problems optimizing it for ps2 though.... im sure it'll be in the game... check out gamespot

Yes but that's only for motorcycles.
Would be interesting to see cars on racing in pairs like the rally races though. Great scenery there too.

That would be a circuit to rival the Nordschleife actually, but I don't think it's actually as long, should go Google it.

So do you think the rumoured NurSnow rally track is going to be the full Nurburgring, just covered in snow?!

That would be awesome!

...make that awesome + scary!!

The Isle of Mann TT circuit is 38 miles long, [61km].

The official race is only for motorbikes, but thousands flock there every year to take their cars round the circuit. The whole point is that there's no speed limits - you can still be done for what they term "ridiculous driving" or something :)

The Nûrburgring has a bumpy section wich puts air under the car, and there is no exaggeration about the lifting Skyline.Check out this picture, or ask Nikki Lauda.Liebe.

Only thing I'm really worried about now is the chance that the ring might ruin the other tracks for me... Even in GT3 I used complex string most of the time (otherwise Monico) when testing out cars and I did LOTS of that. My God I'm gonna be ****ing busy...

Me, the ring and an AE86 Corolla Levin, IT'S A DATE.

Well... Ya gotta go easy on it before you give the big boys a spin. ;)

I hope this time you can put more power into the little cars... I want an uberMini Cooper dammit! The WIDOWMAKER.

Not the best place for random ideas... But it would be nice if you could "buy" a race tuned engine for every car in the game at huge cost (to simulate the costly development for a scratch built engine). Seeing as you end up as a multi-millionare later in the game anyway... Maybe cheaper for cars that actully already have one like the AE101 for the AE86 (no I'm not some Hachi-Roku freak, it's the only example that comes to mind).

Kay, done...

It’s finally here! (just re-expressing my enthusiasm)

The big moment for me in GT4 would be driving through the Nurburgring for the first time. From the beginning, GT4 said it was going to be the ultimate driving simulator to date. And with that claim, it would not be complete without the famous “Ring”. http://www.nurburgring.org.uk/

For all car enthusiasts, we know that most automobile manufacturers around the world come to the Old Nurburgring (Nordschleife) “The Ring” to do testing for their cars, especially performance/sports cars. The “Ring” is known for providing manufacturers with data to fine-tune their products. Racers know the great challenges and demands the “Ring” puts on the cars and them selves.

As a true car and GT enthusiast, the upcoming “Ring” would be the ultimate test-track. With GT’s great detail in the physics engine and game graphics (don’t forget the amount of cars to test), this is going to be a dream come true! I read the car magazine EVO every month http://www.evo.co.uk/ and always hear manufactures testing on “The Ring”. Now we all can do it in Virtual Reality. Let’s hope it matches or surpases the one in Grand Prix Legends. The wait is hopefully almost over.
