GT4 WRS Week 23: "Trimming Time at Mid-Field"

Ok Puck. You talked me into doing a few more laps. Although I think you better put on the bunny tail. Looks like I'm chasin'. :sly:

T1: 20.358 đź‘Ť
T2: 39.522 (aaaargh!)

Interesting enough though, I did tonight with the old DS2. First time I've picked that thing up since getting GT4 in March was a few laps Tuesday night on a lark. I decided to run about 20 laps with it tonight. Not bad. Still got the feel for it I guess. To me it seemed like the tunnel hairpin was faster with the pad. Dunno.

But I'm still gonna give the combo one more go with the wheel. :trouble:
 
New splits, this is my most frustrating thing I've ever done in my life. Well, maybe not the most, but it's close.

These are my last splits, before I get a chance to play again on Monday.

T1 - 20.351
T2 - 39.629

You're still in my crosshairs jase86.....

Hey, that might just help!! Actually I was talking with Z last night and I felt "inspired" to give it another go. New splits:

T1 - 20.365 (saw 20.280)
T2 - 39.455 :D đź‘Ť

Knocked another 0.1 off my old time. Had another lap immediately after it where I knocked off another 0.05, BUT....it might be dirty. Last turn I think I got over the rumble strip by the absolute slightest of margins. I might need someone to take a look at it, but I'm pretty sure it's not gonna count :grumpy: .

Hm.. have been given incentive to run again it seems. Shaved .105 exactly from previous lap with following splits:

T1: 20.311
T2: 39.543

Nailed the hairpin.

about the throw in the towel.. had about 10 sub 39.6 and stuffed all at the final! :(
think ive reached my limit! No more time to play now.. busy all weekend

After a good 35 minutes, using the DS2. I found that using the red color scheme rather than black lowered my T2 time by a good .3 seconds... go figure.

Red is the fastest color in the world.... then black, then yellow. I thought everyone knew this.

Been awhile since I raced here... and almost forgot to post em. Hope to break into the sub 40 club this weekend. Been there a few times only to stuff the last corner... in slow, out fast, in slow, out fast, in slow, out fast... ooohhhhhhmmmmm.

T1: 0:20.521
T2: 0:40.368
 
An hour session yesterday evening, and I ran a consistent 20.47x / 39.86x.
But no improvement at the finish line : either the lap was dirty or I lost too much time in the final hairpin.
I hope to get a clean 20.45x / 39.75x by the deadline.

i´m getting way behind by not playing in the last 2 days... i´ll have to put some time today... since its friday, time is not that much of an issue... but i´m afraid we´ll have a big shake up in the results...
 
New splits for me using 280 gearing

20.456
39.862

Think there is a small amount to come but the time put in vs the rewards this week isnt so good! So may submit with what i have , mind you my finish was better by two tenths which is quite a lot on this combo...will have to see!
 
You fast folk are gonna be the death of me...new splits and my quickest T2-Finish yet:

T1: 0'20.507
T2: 0'39.908

Have seen a 39.7xx at T2 before so hopefully I'll get there before the due date, this race is gonna have some mighty close finishes!

Well, kinda true, and kinda not true at the same time... The rewards you see NOW aren't so great, but the rewards for shaving off that thousandth here and there can mean a spot or FIVE! on this track. It's going to be way close, so don't think that shaving off a thousandth isn't worth it. đź‘Ť

Ahhhh yes, I think I knew that somewhere in my head... Very quick woman indeed... Nice times Kelly!

And just looking at the current leaderboard, noticing that Div. 1 is more populated than Div. 3! With Div. 2 taking top honors in the participation this week... Wow there are a lot of us going at it... Good to see! Just means I REALLY do need to find 3 tenths by tuesday morning... đź’ˇ :)

Finally figured out the problem I was having and shaved off 0.3" in an hour or so. I KNOW I've got a lot more low lying fruit and a decent amount of time available to play this week.

T1 20.428 (have seen 20.362)
T2 39.650

Haven't had too much time this week to devote to this combo as I'm in the process of moving...once again...YEAH! (NOT!)

But after about a dozen laps or so, the best I can get for the time being is:

T1: 20:806
T2: 40:606

I'll keep pushing the evelope when time permits but for that probably won't be until late Saturday or even Sunday...
