Anyone ever compile these from the community and submit 'em en masse?

Edit: Thought the link went to the GT website feedback. Didn't know about the GTP feedback section. Awesome

Pd should change the tuning section of gt5. For example
Engine
- instead of just having stage 1, 2, 3 and ECU. There should be upgrade for different parts of the engine for example - valves, pistons, camshaft, ignition, intake, fuel system, displacement, oil & cooling, and flywheel.
Handling
- individually buying upgrades like these: Brakes, springs and dampers, front and rear roll bars, Chassis reinforcement, Roll Cage, Weight reduction, Drivetrain
- clutch, Transmission, driveline, differential.
tires
- tire compound, tire width, tire size the tire width and size would help with all kinds of racing.
Aero appearence
-Front bumper, rear bumper, hood, rear wing, sideskirts
conversion
- engine swap, aspiration conversions

Settings
- all current gt5 settings but they would come with different upgrades
- tire pressure, boost pressure should be added

explanations
- These upgrades will help with different driving styles and types for example : drifting would not need all types of upgrades but maybe drag racing or any other type of racing might not need the same type of upgrades as a drift car.

I'd really like the ability to make AWD cars have a 0-100 power split so I can drift more RWD cars. Or you could make it a 100-0 split if you wanted to, not sure why you would though unless you're a huge fan of FF cars.

Echo many of the thoughts above. Ideas in addition to that would be

1 - a walk through garage where you can see all or some of your cars at once and show track performance and record by car

2 - Also dealerships with walk around showrooms

3 - movie director mode in replay or watching live b spec Choose placement of cameras and switch between them and even operate basic camera functions live

4 - Lap time leaderboards for your tracks consisting of more than just top 10 times

5 - ability to find out which room a friend is in

6 - when buying from dealerships ability to specify certain options other than just colour eg engine spec or body trim

7 - custom track design Road layouts as more than just circuit so you could for example design your own town centre and share online

8 - a few novelty vehicles like ice cream vans and sit on lawnmowers! Would really like to see more uk market cars from the 50's, 60's 70's eg ford Granada, cortina, Capri, rover 3500,, princess, maestro with talking trip computer, a bit more Tongue in cheek here or there wouldn't go amiss. Examples of Grand prix cars from all decades

9 - horns with humour. Where is the dukes of hazard horn?

10 - please, please faster menu navigation

11 - preview paint jobs before pressing go

12 - ability to limit cars to ones you select from own garage when hosting a race (unless someone can tell me how to do that now)

Fix on the at gearbox, it is an mt box changed automaticly. It would be cool if we can buy mt or at cars from the shop and it would cost more if you wanted to change that.

- the tahiti tracks and all the gt4 remaining tracks like cathedral rocks and El Capitan
- more cars (hybrid and solar) and N2O equipment
and if its possible a graphical interface for the garage
:)

And last but biggest of all I'd like to see a full car designer. Build from ground up. Enter dimensions, materials, interior and pull and tweak shape and components to hearts content. Then drive your creation in the game

Most of that will only happen if you expect to wait 5 years for a patch (and by then I would hope we have GT6 + PS4). This is a computer game, not a real life racing team where you dev between each round plus super-focused dev during the off-season ;)

I would rather they do some more bug fixes, add some more tracks, more cars not based on the same model & mid-enduro saves over the next couple of months 👍

but dont you think that the engine upgrades are unrealistic. You dont go to a garage and ask for a stage 3 engine upgrade. You ask for piston upgrades or any other part of the engine am i not right?

Actually, many tuning firms do use "stages" for many pre-tested kits for specific car models. Besides, define "upgrade". Every engine is different, for example a "280" cam might work really well with a little tidying of the plumbing in one engine, but do absolutely nothing in another engine without extensive head work.

You'd need a properly detailed system, with the potential to "get it wrong". Which is fine with me.

i understand that there are different stages for different parts and thats how i would like it in gt5 you would be able to choose wich stage you would like for different parts for the engine for example a stage 1, 2 or 3 piston, camshaft, ignition...

Put more rally races...why give us rally license tests and not put 1 single rally event in either spec...big fail on PD

Eh, it doesn't work like that. A stage 1 kit for a given engine is all about the complete package, there's no such thing as a "stage 2 piston" - what you have are "overbore", "forged", "coated", "long skirt", "high-compression" etc. and much more besides. It's up to the tuner to decide whether a certain kind of piston is required for the intended usage of the engine (high rpm, or high boost or what have you) and include that with other parts to make a "stage"-type kit for that engine to meet those ends.

In that sense, "stages" are really only indicative of a global approach to a given tune for a particular car, and if you swap out the "stage 2" cam for the part used in a "stage 3" kit, the whole tune falls apart, potentially.

Really, parts "tuning" in racing games is nothing like it is in the real world. I'd love it if it were, though, with "stages" retained as default parts combinations, or something, with even different "companies" offering different combinations of parts - i.e. their own kits - but retaining the possibility to mix and match to meet your own needs. Like GT4's tuners, but done "right".

i'd like to see something similar as forza 3 for the engine upgrades

You mean engine swaps? Fine. But I think the genre can do better than sticking to a 13-year old formula when it comes to parts and tuning itself.

I wouldn't ask much, maybe two or three premium cars?? I'd also like to have the good old test track back from the old gts!

Hi

Well I just loaded 1.13 & it took all of a few sec to load .

Also just ran TGTT & no more cutting corners or mr red time shows up .

Thanks
