Just a minor detail, but has anyone else noticed that the Best Buy car of A.J. Almendinger is missing a part of the back spoiler on his 2011 nascar compared to the other 2011 cars that all have it.

See how the third image (real life) as the back spoiler along the rear pillar but the one on GT doesn't.

I hope there will more DLC on new cars like Aventador, 2012 GT-R R35, M5, E 63 AMG, RS5, etc2....
Don't hold your breath Leicht, although you never know....? I'd love to see the Aventador also:sly:

Not complaining as even the blacked out interior is good enough for me. But, for duplicate standard cars that have a premium counterpart, why wouldnt PD "copy and paste" (best way I can put it) the premium interiors to the standards? Examples: All Miatas, Skylines R32-34, NSXs, RX7s, etc.

BTW, I bet the blacked out interiors are a "work in progress" for premium updates later. They hold what looks like proper lines.

Overall, Im not overly excited about any of the update or DLC...but will be buying it. I do like Skylines so this one is good for me. I like the way that DLC R34 looks.

I'm on 200% when I updated this morning (must remember me from pre 2.0 - I'm on every night! :) )

So the BIG MONEY has gone from the Seasonals, but with this new 'Loyalty' bonus, I'm sure it all works out in the end 👍

I want Aventador!! It would be brilliant to have take pictures of it with with CitroenbyGT as they both have radical design. It would be a Jet versus a spaceship.

Its a nice update for sure and some nice DLC, but isnt it just too little too late? I mean, almost a year since release? And in the same week of FM4 releasing.

definitely too late.....waaaaayy to late for my taste!

True, but everyone even T10 knew PD was going to make a move like this so they could try and keep their fan base interested. To be honest it seemed somewhat okay, but nothing to jump up and down for I think. With such a great number of regular sport cars that GT5 doesn't have yet but FM4 will is why I want to go buy it and devote time to it and less to GT5. I think I'll join an extra race series if I have time for GT5 though with the new DLC, but that's if I buy

Update is great but a bit dissapointed with DLC. Great that we get Spa but only that.:/

And no new Super GT cars, was really hoping for Honda HSV-010! *Dreaming on*

It actually does, this is a free content update in this day and age where most publishers push for DLC, you could be sure if this wasn't PD you'd have paid for a lot of the updates you got. I'd say for a free update this is a great thing to have support for the game. Nobody's forcing you to use the cockpit view on standard cars if you don't want to use it. Having more options is always something better :)

Errr, this is not on par with most games DLC its a patch to fix what should have been there in the first place - even at that for the size of the update the content is minimal.

Theres no way they could charge for this update its basically PD sweetening the deal after all the bashing they have had from the community.

Smoke generation is still a joke. I mean, when do you ever see an fr road car with puffs of thick smoke and black skidmarks coming from the front tyres during a normal power slide? Or smoke pouring off the front outside tyre during some normal understeer (i.e not hard in the throttle in an fwd car on the lockstops for ages)? Or a 110bhp mx5 making so much smoke you can't see the car during a slide at 70mph?
Very annoying and cheap looking.

I was hoping for more from the update, but it does seem better overall.

I doubt we will ever see more race cars in this game, GT1's especially(in premium). All those LMP's in standard, its not good enough, i don't feel like racing those, when i have a perfectly good premium R10 and peugeot. But hey, i guess its a driving game, and not a racing game.

I mean the graphics of this game, are good enough for the next gen console, so why not just continue turning these standards into premiums, and then port them to GT6? And hopefully by then the shadows and jagged are fixed.

Im really liking the update and some interiors for standards are very much detailed like the F1 cars, Caterham and Le Mans cars thanks for that PD! 👍

This is the dissapointment thread!!

Pretty sure this isn't the only DLC coming up, but whatever. Most of the people on the forums, and perhaps in tthis thread wanted Spa, now you've got it AND a new karting track with two layouts for ~£3 and you still have room to complain? Pfft, colour me blue
and call me Bob cause I'd be so happy to B-Spec around any new track, let alone Spa all day, and I didn't even want it that bad.

I am happy, although many of the things in spec 2.0 we should of had with the original game, it is clear to me that Sony pushed for the release of GT5 before it was ready, and ever since we have had 15 patches and this 2.0 update to fix them. I am sure we will get additional updates in the near future as we as additional DLC.

Well done PD and thanks

HAHA ( not aimed at you btw! ) Pushed before it was freaking ready? The damn thing was in development for YEARS. Not only was it shipped half baked, but it had more bugs than a rainforest. Couple that with THE lamest AI in the history of driving games, then PD will never be forgiven for me.

I just tried the update, the sounds are still terrible ( damn wooshing noise for every single damn car when accelerating ) The muscle cars are particularly a joke. The load times are improved, but then you have to wait for the cars to populate the grid before you can race, nice way to hide load times PD...

For me the AI and the sounds were the single biggest issue with this game. Something that a patch could never fix as it is too deep in the code..

So AI is still crap?

What about damage have they done anything to that?

Is also still don't get it why they haven't tried to fix those blocky shadows or the awfully looking dust in pictures.....

A statement of PD would also be nice sometimes. I never red anything expect a few twitter comments from Kaz...:odd:

Its a valid point you dont have to start insulting people.

Yes its a free major update but its hardly revolutionary.

Its a sad farewell to GT5 I think. I shall join FM4 with its 10 DLC cars per month!

I think my patience is at an end. $5 for a track, the car DLC just being more Skylines. Some of the lost GT1-4 tracks were what I was hoping for.

Forza has the iconic car selection so much more nailed from the off. I bought Forza 3 for £10 but held off buying a Fanatec wheel as it wasn't quite there but worth a joypad play. I think it's time to sell the G25 and move on that Fanatec now Forza 4 is out. The fact they Turn 10 release stuff like Sierra Cosworths tells me which team is really in tune with from outside of Japan.

Maybe I'm 'whinging' but maybe it's just that this DLC doesn't meet my expectations in the face of competition from other driving sims/games. The fact you have to pay for this means it's open to some very valid criticism. I'll vote with my wallet though and I'll not be buying the DLC.
