GT5 2.0 Disappointment Thread

The update isn't the issue, it's the DLC. It's poor at best, why does PD refuse to put out some new cars people want? 1 track no new content = fail. 12 bucks for that when we got 100 + cars and 27 tracks for 50.
 
Seriously, people at PD are so baka it hurts.

5 bucks for one track seems a bit steep, considering I paid 60 euros for half a game that got decent 10 months later. We basically paid for the development costs of a a crappy DLC pack.
Someone should tell them about how this whole "investment" thing works. Gran Turismo 6 Prologue can wax my balls shiny.
 
Buy the DLC so PD is financially motivated to keep releasing patches and more DLC. GT6 isn't meant for you anyway, by the time it ships, you'll be buying it for your kids.

(Can you spot the solution to this abysmal dilemma? ...and I think it's two tracks..)
 
i still don't understand why we have ps2 graphics in one of the best series ever.new interiors in cars are you serious.just leave them out as a matter of fact they should have only had premium cars in the game.the reason for buying a ps3 was to have better graphics.not play a ps2 game

Excuse me? He quoted my post and I think if you look at my posts I'm not exactly a GT5 fanboy! I have a HUGE list of what is wrong with GT5 (especially offline as I don't go online) that PD have not touched. I don't expect they ever will as it seems PD don't care about giving a good offline racing experience.
 
apart from the saving feature is nothing. and the generic cockpit view is just pathetic on a ps3 game that claim to be the best racing game. pathetic. Now we have gt psp in hd.
 
lol, people asked for a basic generic cockpit. PD gives it to them.

Let's start with simple, when a person drives around a track aiming for victory, WHAT will he be watching ? Interior OR the track ?? So far I've readen posts here, I vote for first option (which would make you DIE on track) So whats the dang fuss about black interior, while the view itself is made nicely, shaking, feel of speed, it's all there, but NOOOOO people loves to whine and compare to FM cars which are basically made by using Car Catalogue of Car Showrooms (except AutoVista models which they took a look inside in person)
 
One more thing I am disappointed about regarding the DLC is the car choices. Don't get me wrong, I think they are pretty good choices, except for the Prius Touring Car. I mean come on, really? But out of all the other amazing cars in the premium selection and they had the nerve to make a Prius race car. Why on earth didn't they choose something worth racing in, like a BMW M3, the Aston Martin, a Lamborghini or Ferrari? I just noticed there are no European race cars added and these would have been great choices. And heck, if they were going to add a hybrid race car, the Telsa Roadster would have been a much better choice. It would have also been nice to have a Dodge Viper race car to compete against the Corvette RMs. I would kill to have the latter.

Nope AI seems pretty much identical to me.

I downloaded the update went to arcade raced on professional with default (0) aggression in a stock 458 italia. I then changed to 10 aggression and raced, sorry drove again and it felt exactly the same. Just as uninspiring.

the car looked nice though.

Lack of leaderboards is also a huge downer. Specially since it worked so well in Prologue.

Really hope they do something about this soon!

Funny cause it was the moaning that led to spec 2.0. Without non blind sheep things would never improve. Up your standards.

Dissapointment? Only that the karts have headlights now... no more hilarious night time hijinks on the Nurburgring.

Only on the internet can you find people looking to complain about any and every detail of life. This is a game, it follows right in line of GT1,2,3,4. It absolutely blows those games away. GT has come so far. People who are unhappy will always complain!

I appreciate PD's continued support of this game. G25/27 support, interior views, new RM's, all this stuff takes time and $ by PD. They released a huge update for no charge.

Think about that for a minute.
