I just pre-ordered my copy of the collectors edition today at gamestop, and i cant wait until November. My ps3 wont be getting any rest for a very long time, lol.

I wont be overheating mine because its got lots of air flow and the PS3 Slim runs cooler than the older models so it will take a lot for that to break especially as its got better cooling also.

I used to have a PS2 at work, back when the PS3 first came out, unfortunately we could only play it on the night shift (6:00p.m.-6:00a.m.), the day shift was to busy. And no, I didn't work at a 24 hour game store.

I work at that video rental chain that everyone loves to hate.

The PS3 plays a trailer (or movies every once and awhile) all day long. Everytime I worry about my PS3 slim getting hot, I just look at that thing sitting in a metal and plexiglass box with no ventilation all day and I'm relieved.

you can pre order this at any time before the release dat (nov 2nd,2010) but if you want to secure yourself a copy get it NOW, cant stress that enough if u are a GT fan. only the CE comes with 5 special DLC cars with custom livery and upgrades. any more info ill be glad to help

The CE edition come with the game (obviously), a die-cast metal Nissan GT-R Spec V designed by Japanese model car maker Kyosho, a hard cover 300+ page book on racing techniques, the cars in the game, GT's history, etc. A GT branding stainless-steel key chain, a voucher for 5 DLC cars with custom livery and performance upgrades, a numbered certificate of authenticity all housed in a premium packaging case.

There isn't region lock for PS3 games as far as I know.
So you can play an NTSC disc on a PAL machine or vice versa.

Dont get NTSC for PAL machine !!!

There may be issues with future DLC, online racing with EU residents and non-compatibility when swapping replays etc.

The only amazon shop who gots it till now is amazon france. Those in Europe can preoder to be sure to get one.
A bit sad that uk and germany hasn't it in stores. It would be a great money generator

Ummmm, what makes you think that the pre-orders being made in the US right now are in any way eating into the allocation for EU? Chances are that EU will get a more impressive CE version anyway.

When the official announcement for the CE version for EU is made, and you can pre-order from all of the major online stores, place your order and you will be fine. Although limited, they will make as many copies as required to fulfil those orders, plus a few more for people who prefer to order after the game is out.

WHat info? Everythin is already in the thread. Not only that but the CE has been available for pre-order for a month so those who wanted it most likely already got it.

Speculation is they are the same 5 cars that are available as pre-order bonuses from various stores.
