Haven't you got enough?
Most threads I see are people being nosey or complaining.
Finally, someone see's the light!
but does anyone have a word on the track yet?
or is it going to be Eiger Nordwand again?
Enough what?
So I wonder if damage will be included or will we get the Skid-marks we have been crying out for?
How come this isn't on the official GT website?
PD are absolutely shiite when it comes to promoting their products!!
I can't help but have the feeling that it was never PD's intention to come with this special version for the GT Academy (or any demo version). I believe that PD wanted GT5 to be out by now and that the Academy would make use of the full game. But then GT5 got delayed, while the 2010 GT Academy was already being planned. The GT5 delay (if there really was one) would have been very frustrating for the Academy organizers and they might have pleaded/begged with PD/Sony to come up with a solution, which turns-out to be this demo version.![]()
PD wanted to release GT5 for Christmas, but they've been held back by a number of reasons.

With the demo coming. 2 NEW CARS, a NEW TRACK and NEW PHYSICS. You are allowed to show some excitement that you're getting a demo. You've moaned for the last 5 months that we have nothing...
I am excited I did not say i was not - i just wondered if we were to get skid-marks.....
Where (link please)? Where did 'they' state that it is a demo? I cannot remember reading that on any of the official sites. But I might have missed it (in which case I will humbly crawl back into my cave). As far as I know it is not a demo, I repeat: NOT A DEMO. It is a special version to allow for the 2010 GT Academy, which, as a side effect, will give us some insight into the progression GT5 has made compared to GT5 Prologue. If you want to call that a demo, fine.Well, people complaining have a point. Why should PD be treated differently than any other company? Because they've taught us to freak over the smallest confirmed info they gave us? If it's just for the Academy, then OK. But they state it's a demo. Imagine EA releasing a demo with 2 cars and 1 track. We would spit in their face for that. Compared to the lack of news over the last months this demo is a major event and I'm really looking forward to it (actually I'm overexcited). But that doesn't mean we don't deserve more for the 5 years of patience. And if they don't show us the damage, and other supposed to be in the final version features, than demonstration of what is this gonna be?

plus this is free to anybody with a PS3!!! - what about us mugs who forked out hard earned cash in a recession to play prologue??
Not sure I understand your point here? You want them to charge everyone who has not brought prologue? Sounds like a bad idea when apparently PD's marketing is already poor![]()

I wonder how many realize that this demo is probably not going to showcase the final game? I'm sure it will have new physics, graphics and hopefully damage and sounds too but that doesn't mean they will be the same in the final game. We are talking about a 3-4 months gap here. A lot can be changed.

That 350z looks amazing and I hope you can tweak the tuning a bit in the demo.
We dont deserve any more from them than what we got. We got GT5 Prologue and GTHD which is a lot more than any other company would give us.
