If I was an American I would be kind of relieved about this in one respect, Yes your getting it later and your getting a bonus too but think about it what with all the discussion going on about how PD are going to implement the DLC at least you'll all get to see how it all works before buying it.
 
Not sure why this is in the Q&A section. This should get publicity in the main GT5 Forum.

Good point. I was going to wait till tomorrow afternoon and lurk the boards for feedback first anyways. Now I have to wait and hopefully all the hidden "surprises" are figured out beforehand.
 
I bet the special gift will be the black and white gt academy gt-r. The one like the signature model.

They did promise it to us.

Knowing how Kaz seems to operate, i wouldnt be suprised if we got something as a gift, then weeks later it becomes available for everyone :lol:

Kinda sucks its going to be later, but oh well it builds the anticipation regards what we will be given as an extra bonus.

Unless he massively disfavors a specific region with pre-order content availability, then it'll be re-released... well... never.

Speaking of that, whadda ya wanna bet the free gift will be something cheap that doesn't even begin to settle the score in that area?

Probably because the EU and Asia regions got all kinds of bonuses when the game came out. They cost a lot, of course, but the NA region never even got the opportunity to pay for them. Maybe they're starting to even it out now.

They couldn't be too nice to us though, so they had to delay it a week.

SCEA is typically american- we're more incline to sit on our asses while munching big macs (or are we now chewing something even more gross like a quadruple big mac with 20 layers of thick slabs of bacon). SCEE on the other hand (yes, that includes the Greeks) are the pinnacle of coolness- workers who work hard without breaking a sweat while smoking Marlboros as they type all the right numbers in the right boxes. Hence, the reason they're getting the DLC a week earlier than us.

Friend, the PD does not hate us customers and fans, look what she has done several updates releasing and improving the game for us.

This problem must be something related to PlayStation in North America I think, PD should have nothing to do with it.

But of course everyone would like an explanation.

One week it's not that much to wait, remember when GT5 got delayed alot alot of time.
 
SCEE also is Australia.

I agree what's another week!? After all of these delays we've experienced through PD we should be some of the most patient gamers out there.

So let me get this straight: US gets the DLC a week later while the rest of the world gets the DLC tomorrow? And then there's the part that the US is getting some 'suprise' that the rest of the world isn't? That almost confirms that the Test Course (or any other track) is not the surprise, because there's no way that the US can have an extra track that the rest of the world doesn't.
 
Did they forget to pay their Internet bill for North America? Otherwise this makes No Sense!

That car came with the Collector's Edition, we (Americas) never got a Signature Edition. I hope we get a car though...

Just in case any North American GT5 players needed another reason to jump ship to Forza 4... :rolleyes:

At least it's just a week though. Not bad for just 2 tracks and more Nissans.
 
The special bonus will prolly be a Chrome line GTR or 370z :scared:

I just want a reason. I don't care if it's a stupid reason, just some kind of explanation. We never get a reason for these delays. Please tell us why, not just some short ambiguous tweet that gives the impression you don't really give a flying duck.
